Gir N Joy Resort

I recently stayed at Gir N Joy Resort and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The resort is nestled in the midst of stunning natural surroundings, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The accommodations were comfortable and cozy, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The food at the resort's restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend Gir N Joy Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. I had the pleasure of staying at the Gir N Joy Resort over New Year's Eve and it was an absolute delight. The resort is surrounded by stunning natural beauty and the two-storied cottages were a perfect retreat. The kids room on the first floor had a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The resort staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The New Year's Eve celebrations were top-notch, with a lavish dinner spread and a lively music to keep the party going into the early hours of the morning. Overall, I would highly recommend the Gir N Joy Resort for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The cottages are spacious and well-appointed, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. I can't wait to go back for another visit!

Jamwanu ane location and all staf and owner very good

Very good location t the river bank. Approach is very narrow for last 3 kms up to property. Rooms are sufficient in size but toilets are very poor. Nice central garden with lawn. Food was good.

The resort is located off the Dhari- Tulsishyam road in the Gir area. You have to travel 1.5 km on a rough road to reach the resort. There are no sign boards of the resort , the only sign board is in Gujarati reading "Lal bapu ni wadi", probably because the resort does not have full legal sanctions. They accept only cash at resort. The location is just awesome, peaceful,tranquil, on a cliff, cut off from the rest of the world. The view is gorgeous overlying a rivulet which leads to a lovely waterfall . The food is overall good. The cottages are two storyed with two bedrooms and bathrooms, the interiors are ordinary. The linen,bedsheets and pillow covers need to be improved. There is no AC,no wifi and no geysers.No amenities like fridge, coffee maker, safe etc. Bathrooms are very ordinary.There is a lush green lawn. Tea is available only after 8 AM in morning. Surprisingly they don't even ask for a photo id. All in all if you are not demanding and can do without luxury, it will be a good place, especially if you are in a group. The staircase in the cottage is fairly steep and partially protected only. The view of sunrise and sunset is gorgeous.There are rooms also but cottages have much better view and more privacy.

A perfect resort developed at Dudhala (Gir), Ta. Dhari. It is having nice river view on the back side of the cottages. We occupied 3 cottages. Cottages are duplex type and perfect for family accommodation. Besides the last cottage there is a very beautiful arrangement for campfire. It was a nice time till late night having friends surrounding the campfire with hot tea and chatter-patter snacks. Rooms are good with basic facilities, clean and airy, with pleasing view on the back side. A friendly staff is available at your service round the clock.||If you are lucky then you may get the chance to see the lion in the wild out there. We just found a crocodile having sunbath. Check out those pics of resort and surroundings. Overall it was a great time with friends. We recommend this resort with thumbs up.

Resort is Amezing. They have pool also and there back side check dam view are amazing and there staff are very polite but the connectivity of the road is poor. Which road connect the main road are too short for luxury bus we face trouble to go in the resort.

Around 3 Km inside on country fair weather road, this resort has been built with a vision on a wonderful location.Six 2 room cottages with attached toilets are there along with around 10 rooms in another building. In front a well developed garden and lot of open space for parking. Swimming pool is there but during our stay,no water was there in pool. Swimming pool is charged @150/-seperately. Rooms are having only beds and 2 plastic chairs.Back side of rooms are opening to a valley with small stop dam with a small lake.Though AC are fitted,same were not working. Electricity supply is erratic and may be problem for hours. One must take precaution for mosquito. Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner all are included in package. Its all Vegetarian .In breakfast only limited items are being served like Poha, Paratha stuff/plane,and tea/coffee. In lunch Kathiawadi or Punjabi as per guests preference is being served. And in dinner again Gujarati Bajra/Rotala along with veg sabji,Rice/Khichadi are served. no sweets/desert were available during Lunch/Dinner,as same has tobe called from Dhari,30 Km away.As Limited staff is there,one may find lousy services. Cleaning of rooms and room services can be better. Only plus point here is its Chef,who is quite good for all the preparations. From here one may visit reserve forest around Tulsi Shyam area,where one may see wild life including lions. Resort is not providing any safari as such one should visit with own vehicle preferably SUV.
