Mahefeel e Rann Resort

We visited in mid April and it's regularly mid 40s, and the resort is usually closed but kindly opened up as a favour to our guide. The bhungs are light and have air con, the food is delicious and it feels like a real home stay. As we were on our own, it's hard to say what it would be like in height of season but the staff couldn't do enough for us and I doubt it would be different any other time! Good place to see sunsets and sunrises at white Rann as well as a trip to Black Hills. We are outside of season and so often we're the only people at these places! Wonderful stay, would recommend

Fabulous place to stay. They are gorgeous little huts, very clean and comfortable, kettle and TV in room. It's hard to get a WiFi signal in the room. The food was good and they catered for my Gluten free diet.

We enjoyed our stay here though it was only for a night. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice big bathroom. And it was all done up in the local Kutch style. The restaurant was comfortable, and food was equally tasty. All the staff were friendly and attentive and took care of all our needs. The only drawback I could think of is the lack of Wi-Fi even in the lobby area; as is typical for such remote places in Gujarat state. We would have to use their Mobile Hotspot, which we ended up not doing and relied on our cell phone service. And we loved our visit to the White Rann.

We stayed in family bhunga where my family of four persons could easily stay. We went in February and although the bhunga had an airconditioner, we found no need to use it as the bhunga keeps warm at night and cold during the day; such is its construction. The whole place was very clean. There is an adjoining toilet in the bhunga which with attached bathroom. That too was well maintained and clean. Tasty local food of Kutch was served during breakfast and dinner. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Excellent service and stay. Food was very authentic. Staff is very courteous. Excellent for kids. Wonderful experience of staying in a Bunga ..All bungas r having AC & geyser is available... Rooms r big & clean ...No TV though ; sufficient electrical points for charging ... Internet is not stable ..Food is very basic ...Suggestion- Do carry sufficient food & drinks along , if planning for stay here ...Hardly any eatery around .We had to drive 30kms for finding a Dhaba to have lunch ... Lunch & Dinner is served ,only if booked prior... Even breakfast is minimalistic..Location good , amidst the Arid terrain of Greater Rann of Kutch & some 28- 30kms from White Desert location.

Beautiful place to stay while visiting the white desert. Amazing hut house, hospitality and beautiful room stay to enjoy. They also organise cultural activities in the night for the guests. And the food is yummie and tasty with vide variety which is complimentary. For art lover its home as the interior is decorated beautifully.

We stayed for 2 days here and specially enjoyed the food (dinner) and rooms are good and occupied with AC and no complains.. service was good and staffs are supportive. It is around 20km far from rann of Kutch bit far but shouldn't be a problem.
