The Kutchh Courtyard

Beautiful home stay. Homely food. Very comfortable and well maintained rooms with ample of space. My family enjoyed the garden and sot out area. ||The home owners and staff too are very welcoming and helpful. Their house is built with a courtyard which brings very homely and refreshing vibes. ||Very hygenic and clean too. Highly recommend....

We were a group of 4 adults & 2 kids (ages 5 years & 2 years). I will start with the positive points: 1) Clean, spacious rooms 2) tortoises and rabbits in premises, highly entertaining for the kids 3) support staff, especially the manager mr Mihir are quite cooperative. Mr mihir was nice enough to offer his personal number, and all our calls to him were attended well. 4) entire premises has antique look & is well maintained Negative points: 1) it is just too expensive. We were charged rs. 12,000 PER ROOM, including GST and breakfast, excluding lunch and dinner. That is higher than many 5 star hotels and resorts in kutch. And it is but natural to expect a certain level of service and hospitality with these charges. 2) There is a large room within the homestay, which has garments meant for wholesale, a business owned by the hosts. The room was also meant for the guests to see, and was opened on request, as I was told. We informed the manager at 9:30 am on Sunday that our group was interested in seeing the garments. At 12 pm, we again requested the manager to just get the room opened, so we could have a glimpse inside. The hosts were seen sitting & having a conversation hardly 20 feet away, and we were still denied permission to see. Reason given was "hosts are busy". This is not lack of amenity, or lack of service. This is just "disrespectful" and not the way to treat senior citizens aged 70 plus. Better ways to respond were: Option a) just give the key to the manager, atleast so we can see it on our own. Option b) just say you will open the room after 20 minutes once your conversation is over. Option c) just come & show us around for 5-10 minutes and go back to ur important conversation! 3) We were promised aloo parathas as breakfast for our kids at time of booking on phone, by the host herself. However, it consisted only of 3 south indian items "dosa, idli and uttappa", & choco lays. No bread/toast, no juices, no fruits, nothing else, which seems quite lacking when u are charging rs.12,000 per room. We requested for just one aloo paratha for the kids, which was flatly denied ! What good is a kitchen, which cannot prepare something as simple as one aloo paratha for a 5 yr old kid, at 9:30 am in the morning ?! 4) Minor things: there is no refrigerator or TV in the rooms, you will end up drinking lukewarm water even in peak summer. Nothing else is complementary; every glass of plain milk (no cook needed) ordered for a 2 year old baby will be charged 100 bucks each. I have stayed at two 5 star facilities in kutch, where the baby milk was complementary, and the rooms were cheaper than kutch courtyard. Overall, an unpleasant experience.

Chose this place on a friend's recommendation and we're glad we did!! Beautiful property, very well appointed and maintained, and super lovely hosts! One can just meander around the house and not feel the need to leave it and go anywhere. Excellent stay, would love to come back ! We were on a self drive trip, and was great to have parking space.

The hotel is a homestay. It is a lovely place to stay. It feels like you are at home. All the staff were excellent providing service. Himanshu looked after us at dinner and breakfast as if we are part of his family. Mihir also catered to all our needs very efficiently.

What an absolute pleasant surprise to have found this place. For those seeking a unique experience, aesthetic interiors, steeped in local art albeit with all the comforts of a home. Smita and Abhinav have created a tranquil oasis in a an unassuming place in Bhujodi. Their personal attention, coupled with their wonderful staff truly make you feel at home. They helped me carve out an itinerary to make the most of my short stay. I happened to be sick when I reached there and Smita went above and beyond to help me feel better. I wish I had a couple more days to take in all that Bhuj and the area has to offer, while enjoying this little gem.

A beautiful home, very comfortable stay, very spacious room, tastefully done interiors, clean and quiet surroundings. Wonderful couple, both of them spent good time with us, exchanging experiences and sharing a lot of information. Special mention to Maa ji, her welcoming smile and sharing prasad which made us feel as part of their family. Mouthwatering home food, we were actually spoilt for choice. Loved the antique furniture and flower rangoli. The staff is very pleasing and helpful. A very warm hospitality. Highly recommend for those who love to have a peaceful and comfortable holiday.

Kutch Courtyard is a wonderful resort. An elegant mix of styles throughout the property. The rooms are immaculately clean and good size with comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms. The jewels of this resort are the owners and the staff absolutely attentive in every way that any guest would require. The food is fabulous and the service is like mums feeding you any requirement is met with a smile can't wait to go back again. Thank you everyone at Kutch Courtyard resort it felt like visiting family.

A relaxing stay in the rural town of Bhujodi. I stayed at the Kutchh Courtyard to host a group tour, and it was a very nice and relaxing place to come back to each night. The staff is very friendly and attentive and rooms are clean.
