The Bhuj House

I had a wonderful stay at Bhuj House. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Sharing dinner with the other guests was a lovely experience (and the food was delicious!). The property itself is beautiful and very well decorated, and the garden is the perfect place to relax.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful heritage property for 4 nights on the recommendation of a friend and we were extremely impressed. The property is not very big but very warm and cosy. It has a charming courtyard with a lot of greenery and a well, that is no longer in use. Post sunset, tea candles are placed in the courtyard, that adds to the beautiful ambiance of the place. We chose to stay in the rooftop room. It was a big room, well appointed, neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast and dinner, which was absolutely delicious, were served in the common dining area for all the guests staying there. It was a great way to bond with fellow travellers from across the world. The owner Mr. Jehan Bhujwala, manager Mr. Mukesh and Mr. Bharat are very warm and helpful. Thank you for your warm hospitality and making our stay so special. I strongly recommend this property.

This charming guesthouse has better service than a five star hotel. This is our second stay and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Excellent food, comfortable beds, a/c, great location. The courtyard is such a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a chai!

The Bhuj House is a charming place to stay, the highlight was the meals shared together with the other guests because of the incredible food that was prepared, especially for Dinner. The House itself was a relaxing place to stay for a few days with a beautiful garden to relax throughout the day. The location could be considered a little loud because of the mosque and traffic nearby, just a note to anyone who is noise sensitive to bring ear plugs

An excellent stay in a small and friendly guest house- it was more like staying at a friend's home. The staff were very friendly, and the manager could not have been more helpful. nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable, good central location and, best of all, the food was excellent- really tasty, great choice and plenty of it.

The charm of the property, with its heritage architecture and serene courtyard, is only rivaled by the warmth of the people who run it. Mukesh and Bharath go above and beyond to make sure every guest is taken care of, creating an atmosphere that's both personal and welcoming. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality make the space not just a stay but a true experience. What sets The Bhuj House apart is its social atmosphere. Whether it's sharing stories over chai or learning more about the local culture, Mukesh and Bharath make it easy to connect with other guests, turning a simple visit into something unforgettable. It's not just a place to stay--it's a place to feel a part of. I can't recommend The Bhuj House enough and am already looking forward to my next visit.

Beautiful old parsi home really made us feel homely. Secret beauty in a busy area. One can't guess from outside view what precious treasure is hiding inside. Cordial and friendly staff. Clean. Good food.

We spent four nights here between the 13th and 17th of February. We had the smallest of their rooms (because it was the only one that was available for the full four days). Whilst it lacked any space to unpack, it was comfortable and very clean. The rooms are set around a courtyard garden, which also contained a covered dining space. It was extremely quiet and peaceful, despite being in the centre of the historic city.|The food was extremely good and tasty. All the staff were charming and very helpful. The day manager was particularly attentive and helpful. He recommended that we hire a guide for a couple of our days, in order to visit the surrounding villages and see the local handicrafts. He contacted a guide on our behalf and it turned out to be an excellent idea. Without our guide, Rashmi, we would never have experienced the things we did, if we had been on our own. He also recommended visiting the town of Mandvi where we could view the shipbuilding that takes place on the beach.|All in all, a wonderful visit to Bhuj and the Kutch.
