Shyam villa

We chose this place after staying elsewhere first. We called the owner of the property and they asked us to visit and have a look first before booking. So, we directly went to this place; it surely was a very welcoming place and we were delighted to find multiple families booked at this property. Pricing was good, but still on a higher side considering that we travelled during the Rann Festival and Full moon, hence, the demand was high. We only had complaints regarding the breakfast part, which could have been a bit better in terms of a couple of options. Else, the rooms were top notch and maintained in an excellent way. Very quiet and serene and I surely will recommend small families and couples with kids to stay here comfortably without any second thoughts. We lived here for 3 nights During December 2024.

NOT. A GOOD STAY. service is very bad. Stated for two days. They did not give fresh towel second day. Even soap and shampoo are so small that it can't go for second day. Need to order food from outside for lunch or dinner. Breakfast they serve but it's only one item. Only good thing is that room interior is good. One more thing they don't accept credit card. We booked three rooms for two days and need to pay through UpI which is not ideal . Non veg food not allowed inside the hotel.

At first glance property is beautiful, rooms are spacious enough as per their category. However bathrooms are not comfortable; bath accessories needs to be changed. we faced issues with water availability. Staff though cordial were not available at reception all the time. This property does not have a in-house kitchen. Complimentary breakfast comes with very very limited option, so don't have high hopes on in-house dining.

The location is ok and the rooms are beautiful. In spite of this, the people who are in charge at the property, made the whole stay irksome. The people who are in charge of this property need to work on their response time as well as their attitude towards serving the guests. There is language problem on their part, and they were not able to communicate properly in Hindi. We stayed here for 4 days out of which we got hot water only on one day. The team was not prompt enough to look into the issue, which led to discomfort and unnecessary delay. According to them, the breakfast timings are fixed as 8:30 am to 9:30 am, which were not so, as we were never served breakfast before 9 am on any day of our stay. We had to keep on asking the caretaker everyday about when actually breakfast was going to be served. They charged us Rs. 50 per cup of tea, which is way higher than the prevailing rate in any good restaurant. Additional pro tip: Avoid booking cab and / or driver with the team here for sightseeing to nearby places like Mandovi etc., as they charge more than market rate and they know nothing about timings of sightseeing places, road conditions, places to eat, etc. It is totally not worth of anybody's time and money. All in all, not a good experience.

We 25 people stayed there for 3 nights. Rooms and ambiance was very cozy and neet n clean. Service was also very good. Only if they have in-house kitchen then it would be convenient.i definitely recommend if you are looking for stay in bhuj.

Our stay at the Shyam Villa was generally satisfactory. However, we encountered some issues with the bathroom accessories, which were malfunctioning. Despite this, the property owner promptly addressed the problem and ensured our comfort. The caretaker, Deva Bhai, was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay.

A compact property of 9 rooms which are designed well. Stayed with family for 2 nights in the Suite room. The rooms are spacious. Room interior is very neatly done. Recently renovated. The property is compact. Has a small garden area where food is served. Excellent food which has gujarati spread. One should be ready to accept some disturbance as the overall property is compact hence if a group is speaking it's going to reach your ears without much effort! I would suggest that the owners put a policy that residents retire in their room by 10.30 pm or so. This will make the stay better Parking is available. Driver room is not available.

It was certainly a nice stay located in the Madhapar area in Bhuj City. Recommend the stay over here.
