I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service we received during our recent visit to this hotel in Bhuj this morning (14-02-2025). We arrived due to an official work and were in need of a room for a short duration to freshen up. Unfortunately, the reception staff, was very rude. We were willing to pay the full rate for a room but were informed that the room was not clean. The staff suggested that we could use the room as it was if we had urgency or wait an additional 15 minutes for a clean room. We chose to wait, thinking that this was only a short wait. However, after waiting for 30 minutes, it became evident that our request was not given priority, as staff were diverted to serve breakfast orders instead for other rooms. When we politely asked if the process could be expedited, we were met with a rude response indicating that if we had urgency, we would not be provided a room. As a customer, I believe that after waiting for half an hour, we deserved better treatment and a more courteous response. It is important for hotel staff to treat guests with respect and politeness, regardless of the situation. I hope Managment of this hotel take this feedback seriously to improve customer service in the future.

We stayed here for two nights sometime back. A very good and decent hotel for family stay. I have written a detailed article about our Gujarat trip. You can search using the keywords - lets go Gujarat. This might help you plan your trip better. The Good: - Budget friendly, quite big and in a good location. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. - Room interiors good. Our room had a small balcony as well. No noise in room from outside. - AC was good. Room was comfortable - Front desk very helpful. Though we arrived late, he welcomed us warmly and made us comfortable. - Gave useful directions and arranged cab/ auto with good driver for day tours. Improvement Areas: - Breakfast though included is very basic, not much variety and can be improved (but tasty though)

I would like to specially mention Mr. Jitendrasingh Bisht (Mr. Jitubhai) from Almora, Uttarakhand, who is an exemplary hospitality professional. His warm smile, gentle demeanor, and eagerness to help made our stay truly memorable. He is an asset to Hotel Shiv, and his dedication to customer satisfaction is commendable. The room boy and the uncle who has been working there for many years were also extremely supportive and did an excellent job. The hotel's location is perfect - right in the main area, surrounded by transportation and food facilities. I was a bit skeptical about parking after reading some reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. While the roads are narrow, the hotel ensures that your vehicle is parked safely. I stayed for 3 days, and my car was parked properly every day. Overall, Hotel Shiv is a fantastic budget hotel that's perfect for families. I highly recommend it!

Excellent experience at Shiv Hotel! The staff were incredibly humble and welcoming, particularly Mr. Jitender Singh from Uttarakhand, who went above and beyond to ensure our trip was unforgettable. He assisted us from the moment we booked until our departure. Highly recommend staying at Shiv Hotel for a memorable visit to Kutch!

Space wise room was good but the floor wasn't clean, washroom's door was not properly functioning, room's phone was not working, Wi-Fi was also not working at night, TV signal was also very poor. Location wise the hotel is in very good position, it is near to Bhuj main bus stop

We reached Bhuj (Kutch) and we found Hotel Shiv. There we were welcomed by Shri Jitendra Singh Bisht, resident of Almora. The stay was very pleasant and the food of Gujarat was samptuos. We enjoyed the stay for a couple of days. He ensured our comfort to be in the first place before him. The hospitality extended was memorable. We also thank the room boys who helped us relentless in carrying our luggage and their service too was impeccable. We wouldn't think twice to recommend for a family stay.
