Royal Guest House, Bhuj

Host was very warm and welcoming. There were no parking spaces as the location is in mid of busy market in bhuj. So the host helped us in parking our car elsewhere. By night, there is parking space available so we parked infront of hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. Washroom needs some maintenance. Host helped us in exploring bhuj and places around bhuj. Overall good stay if you are looking for budget friendly hotels in Bhuj.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is in the New Vegetable Market which is vibrant and busy with friendly stall holders who explained unknown vegetables. It is walking distance to the sights with autos on hand if tired. We felt safe at this hotel in a new city for us; the owner was very helpful and informative. He recommended eateries such as Hotel Nilam and Anando - which is an excellent find of a clean restaurant with freshly and consistently cooked dishes. Our room was clean with very good lighting.The same day laundry was good. We had breakfast brought in twice of puri bhaji which was tasty and the masala chai was excellent, made on site.

We had an excellent stay here!! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, with window, fan and A/C, hot shower, towels and toilet paper. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom but the dorms also look good. They also have cold drinkable water to refill your bottle. Location is perfect if you want to be in the center of Bhuj. We definitely recommend it!!!

We intented to stay one night, but extended to 3 nights. The rooms and the whole compound is very clean and safe. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and they speak fluent English. Location is good in the centre of the old city. We fully enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

I was not expecting to find such good dorm beds in Kutch for such a good price. I showed up expecting to spend 1 night and after touring Kutch, I came back for 4 more night because I enjoyed it so much. Was able to catch up on some things while also having fun. The room and beds are comfortable, and all facilities are the cleanest I've seen in India. There is a nice open rooftop patio with a cover to keep out the sun. The location is great. The market starts just down the street and good food is only a couple minutes walk away (they also will order food for you for what I believe is cost only). It's also walking distance to many of the attractions like the museums/palaces and temples. The best part is the people. The staff is super nice and helpful never trying to sell us anything - just providing it if we asked. They really know the city and Kutch plus speak terrific English. And I really enjoyed the other guests - lots of laughs and chill vibe.

This place is so out of the box, considering the actual surroundings and the area it is in. But anyway, this is one of the best places to stay at in Bhuj, especially if you're a solo traveller. But even if you are travelling in a group or with family, they have rooms suitable for that requirement too. The rooms here are majorly dorm rooms with 8 beds, with adequate space. Each bed has a box safe under it for keeping luggage. Separate chargeing spots next to the bed are also available. Here's the best part about the place. You're staying in a dorm and pay for a single bed. The bed is comfortable with neat and clean linen. There are all facilities of a modern hotel available and you don't get ripped off for the quality of service and arrangements that you get!! Another great feature of staying here is, that you can order food to your bed. The food that they serve is delicious. A lot of variety from among burgers, sandwiches and indian food is available. And you can be comfortable in your bed while eating. I would rate this place 5/5 for the amazing facility. Last but not the least, there are common toilets and bathing areas for the people who stay in dorm. But the toilets are really clean and neat. You'll not mind using them one bit. Western seat is also available for those who prefer them. Points to keep in mind though, they don't provide soap and towels. Please carry your own if you plan on staying! This is a nice guesthouse well located in the city. The rooms have what you need. The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. They can help to arrange transportation and provide written information about the sights which is very handy! They are flexible and willing to offer help and services when you need anything. Recommended!
