Jaat House , Bhuj - Kutch

I had a wonderful week at Jaat Homestay. It was a great homely oasis of calm from which to explore Bhuj and its surroundings. It is situated in a quiet part of town, close to shops and restaurants and not far from the main attractions. The family were very polite, obliging and made me simple but delicious breakfasts. I couldn't have wished for more.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The location was perfect--centrally situated and easily accessible to all the main attractions. The space was beautifully designed with ethnic touches that gave it a warm and unique charm. It was also incredibly spacious, making it a comfortable retreat. The hosts were outstanding--helpful, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any queries. I truly felt at home here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay.

What a perfect stay we had at Jaat House! The place is cosy, spacious and has plenty of light coming in plus a wonderful little private balcony and shared garden space with the family. A little oasis of joy, with birds chirping in the morning. The neighbourhood is exactly where you want to be, close enough to old town to walk if that's your thing (we enjoyed it) or 5-10 mins away from everything you might find of interest, with an auto. There are also plenty of shops for essentials a few steps away from the house. We visited in winter and found the place quite idyllic. Now to the main strength of Jaat House: the family! Swar, Prithvi and Gayatri are wonderful people we feel lucky to have met, so generous with their time, always willing to help, inclusive, open and kind. They helped organise local trips and even offered their car for ease. We had breakfast and dinner at the house every day of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Jaat House and its people will be dearly missed! We hope to be back one day.

One of the best Home Stay. Everything Right from ambiance, hospitality, warm welcome literally takeaway our tiredness of journey. Very peaceful place yet happening atmosphere. I would always prefer to stay here during Bhuj and nearby visits in future as well. Thanks to Gayatri Jat.

I had the pleasure of staying at Jaat House Bhuj on the eve of 31st December and 1st January. The stay was very comfortable and homely. Jaat House is a vintage property which the host - Gayatri Ji has decorated with several handicrafts and hand-made items in the local style. Sustainability is the theme of the entire experience and we really liked that the host is doing her best to spread the message through her efforts. The home is located in a clean and residential area, has easy connectivity to various places and is safe for all types of travellers. Special thanks to Gayatri ji for the early morning breakfast of parathas and poha. Definitely recommended and will surely stay at Jaat house, next time we visit.

I travel alone with a young daughter and I am always in a look out for women/child-friendly hosts. Jaat House in Bhuj is one such place. It was so endearing to see two women come and pick us up from the train station past midnight. ||It's a nicely kept, spacious apartment overlooking a small home-garden. It's the only "old" building which was lot more charming than the neighbourhood buildings that are rather bland. The house is located in a residential area which is 20 min walk from the sightseeing areas but we preferred it than be in the crowd. ||Gayatri gave us great tips based on which we built our itinerary and our trip turned out to be truly memorable. We went to Dholavira, an Indus Valley site via what they call "Road to Heaven". Then we wandered off in the salt desert which was the completely quiet thus skipping the Rann festival hullabaloo altogether. ||The family was very kind to my daughter, letting her play with their family rabbit!!

Didnt know such a beautiful homestay existed in Bhuj. The family members of the place are really welcoming and sweet! The decor n ambiance of the place is so pleasant that it feels like home. The hygience is top notch, and it's location is also perfect! I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Bhuj and needs a place to stay.

A finest home stay in Bhuj. It's bright, colourful, ethnic decor with modern facilities. It has a fully functional kitchen and refrigerator. We could prepare our tea / coffee, Maggie etc. Host is very helpful and will make you feel at home. Do not forget to try home made breakfast or dinner. It's awesome. Host is also known for arranging tracking camps nearby.
