Hotel Mangalam - Bhuj

Very adequate for business travel. The rooms are very big, with a separate alcove with a full length mirror. The bed is comfortable, there is an extra settee apart from the normal chairs and sofas, which can serve as a bed for a small person. The bathroom is less impressive, just adequate. There is a magnifying mirror though and fair selection of toiletries. The in house restaurant Saffron is a very good one. They serve you a huge complimentary khakra, which is very tasty. Has a fair selection of Indian and Chinese dishes and soft beverages. The food is tasty and the service is impeccable. Very smiling and helpful staff. They end the meal with neat wet towels to wipe your hands, which is a nice touch. Only two reasons why I didn't put five stars. 1.The complimentary breakfast should have featured more items. 2. Room maintenance needs to be improved. Slightly shabby and tired look. Overall, a fair place. Just one word of caution for non vegetarians, it is a fully vegetarian place.

Ofcourse we don't expect hotel food of fresh and genuine healthy quality, so food is containing food colour, gravy of unknown origin and things, icecream melted and served as mango milk rabdi, old rotla of pizza. It's all okay for general public.

I haven't tested food here yet but had heard that there is good taste of food also service staff behaviour is good but parcel service packages are sometimes wrong. But overall it is good

I stayed at Mangalam during a family trip for 3 nights. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and spacious. My rate plan included breakfast at Saffron, a restaurant part of the Mangalam property. The spread was good and prepared fresh. They also helped me arrange a cab for day trips. The staff is courteous, despite being a tourist heavy season they were quick to respond. The Saffron restaurant had good options for dinner as well. Their snack counter had freshly prepared khakra and bhakarwadi which was very tasty. The only feedback I would have is for the check-out times. The check-out of time is at 9 in the morning. Staff extended it by 30 minutes on request, However, I felt it was too early and not very family friendly. Overall I would recommend this property for family vacations

Even after 11 years since my last visit, I found it even better than before. The food was amazing, the rooms were spotless, and the staff provided outstanding service. A special thanks to Mr. Jit for his exceptional service.

It was a nightmare booking at Hoyel Mangalam. Dark and unclean rooms, switch boards are coming out, dirty pillow and bed sheets. We tried to changes rooms but all the rooms were in the same condition. There is no way it's a 3 start hotel. It's even worse than dharamshala. We had booking for 2 days but didn't stay for 2 hours at this hotel. We left it immediately and booked another hotel. Please do not book this hotel.
