I have stayed in many homestays in Gujarat, but the authentic hospitality and homely vibe of this place are truly unmatched. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade food, where we got to taste authentic Kutchi cuisine prepared with care. Mr. Ashish also went beyond expectations--he personally drove us to Bhuj railway station at 4 AM so we could catch our train to Ahmedabad. His commitment to providing exceptional service makes this one of the best homestays in Bhuj. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, providing all the essentials for a comfortable stay in Bhuj. What I really appreciated was the local cultural experience that this homestay offers. Mr. Ashish is incredibly knowledgeable about Kutchi traditions, local festivals, and hidden gems that most tourists might miss. He even arranged a visit to a nearby artisan village, where we got to interact with craftsmen and learn about traditional Bandhani and Ajrakh block printing. For travelers who love exploring beyond the usual tourist spots, this place is perfect. Mr. Ashish also helped us arrange a desert safari, where we saw breathtaking sunsets over the Banni Grasslands and spotted wildlife unique to Kutch. Another big plus is the smooth transport assistance. Whether it was helping us rent a two-wheeler to explore Bhuj or arranging a reliable cab for our trip to Mandvi Beach, everything was handled seamlessly. I don't know why people are writing everything positive and giving only 5 stars? I request, please write only honest review as many people are visiting after checking reviews. I had very bad experience. Room was completely different than picture. I was charged for 3 Star hotel rates but in the name of service, they provided absolutely nothing. When I asked for cleaning, owner clearly said no and also said that we don't provide this service between stay. Then why are you charging a amount equal to a 3 Star hotel? They provided old/dirty towels, dust everywhere, electricity issue, no help with luggage. Visit only when you want to have a pathetic experience. Breakfast was good poha and tea. We got milk on time for our babies.

A review should be very honest and guide people to know the exact attributes of the property. A review should neither have any reflection of personal grudge, nor should it have an intention to please the proprietor of the property. Truly speaking,expectations are usually different from homestay and can not match all attributes of 3 star. Some extra facilities of 3 star are compensated by homely atmosphere and appreciable personal touch of homestay,which may not be available at 3 star. Just like that,Asish ji,being a very nice person tries to satisfy customers' need with his goodness at his best. Limitations of his property may be there. Bed sheet,towels,bathroom everywhere there is scope of improvement,we suggested and he accepted and assured to improve. But, there is no complain about cleanliness,no complain about luggage carrying.Option of bfst is very very limited but whatever was there for us was very very tasty and hygeneic too. Wonderful airy environment,it was like a garden restaurant. Finally let me speak about Ashish ji's guide to help us completing the trip. I will give him 100/100,he was so helpful,i can not describe you.He is matchless really. A little dissatisfaction caused due to room or bathroom does not stand anywhere matching his personal service for his customers. He had involved himself fully to help us optimizing our available time to visit the complete area. Over and above,I would say if Ashish ji changes a few areas of his property it would be one of the best properties to stay. Both Ashish ji & Mona ji are really good in nature and travellers should stay at their property to help it to be one of the best properties to stay at Bhuj. Thank you.

My detail experience with this amazing homestay: 1. The owners of this home stay Mr Ashish & Bhabhi ji were extremely welcoming when we arrived after a 2 day long drive from Pune. 2. They gave us all details about the city as in what to visit what not too and also gave us travel guidelines for Mandvi & Rann too. 3. On the 4th day we went to dordo but the stay there was not up to the mark thus i called up Ashish Sir at 10 pm in the night and he gave us our room back. 4. His wife learned and served us with great SHREEA when we requested it for breakfast on day two. By the way try thepla it is amazing with the special pickle. 5. He used to sit with us everyday on terrace for hours at night and tell us all stories related to earthquake, his work & childhood. 6. We stayed there for 4 straight nights and it was an amazing experience for us. 7. His is now like my father figure and i am sure i will see him soon next time when i visit Bhuj with my daughter. Do not bother to look at other options. Just book your stay with these guys. You will feel like home.

The rooms were reasonably good. The AC was in working condition, the wifi was good. We were 6 of us, so booked all 3 rooms. The breakfast of upma was just about okay. The owner Ashishbhai was not very hospitable, he seemed to be too stringent and defensive (if anything was suggested). We had to all the time ask for water when infact he should have kept atleast a 5 ltr bisleri or matka upstairs. The toileteries were medimix soap and no toilet paper. We had to ask for plates and spoons and water kettle. Everytime he would count them while taking them back. Its on the first floor, so one has to lift the luggage upstairs. Overall, okay experience but the place is close to market area, temple and in a beautiful colony.

When we faced an emergency in the middle of the night, they didn't hesitate to drive us to the hospital. Their willingness to help and genuine care made us feel incredibly safe and supported. This level of hospitality goes above and beyond, and we are deeply grateful for their assistance. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a homely and heartwarming experience.
