Saavaj Resort - Sasan Gir

We had the most incredible stay at Saavaj Resort nestled deep within Gir forest. The resort's cottages were cozy and charming, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. Each surrounded by lush green shrubs n large trees . The swimming pool was a tranquil oasis, surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery. Kids spent afternoons playing soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It has small play area for kuds n several tranquil spots to just sut n enjoy tye nature. But what truly made my stay special was the opportunity to experience the local culture. The resort offered range os activities like walking the teails and organized local tribal dance in evenings . The resort's restaurant served up delicious, authentic local gujrati dishes that were both flavorful and nutritious. Each and every meal was a culinary delight. The staff there were very friendly and attentive. They upgraded our cottages to accommodate our wishes n needs and were very helpful in every manner. Mr Barkat even managed to get medicine from market . Overall, the stay here was a peaceful, culturally enriching retreat. The combination of stunning natural beauty, comfortable accommodations, friendly and caring staff and immersive cultural experiences makes it a truly unforgettable vacation

This is beautiful resort with delicious food and friendly staff and good facilities for stay. I went in October 2024, with my family. I book the super deluxe villa. Once we checked in we got some issue in villa and after just one complain to the front desk they immediately give us another villa. Much appreciated with their friendly staff and management. Good thing about resort it's situated in beautiful location makes feel you're in nature. And food was so amazing and delicious as I live in New Zealand I loved the authentic taste of their local food. They even have cultural performance like camp fire with dance it was amazing and entertaining we all enjoyed it Front Manager even help us to arrange Jeep car for Jungle safari..!! I suppose to write review that time only just because of my busy schedule I forgot and writing down now. Highly recommend This Resort ...!! Cheers...!!

Bad experience They say different prices in the call and after going there when the final bill is made they increase the prices and the food was very bad without any taste. They told us that the accommodation and food is free for unmarried girls but when we paid the bill they took our money. The swimming pool is also very small and not clean at all. The service was also not good. In short they are robbing people by charging higher prices, there is nothing like that there. I suggest that you never go to this resort.

Haven't stayed here but visited one day and had a meal. ||The resort appears in good shape and clean. The green surrounding is excellent. ||We attended performance by a local tribe. It was exciting and fun. ||I would co side stying here on our next visit. ||There are a few 5* alternatives in GIR to consider what suits you.

I visited Savaj Resort today with my family, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food quality was extremely poor--unhygienic and lacking in taste. We had expected a much better dining experience based on the resort's reputation. Even more concerning was the condition of the swimming pool. It was not properly maintained, and due to this negligence, my dad got injured. There were no staff members around to assist or even basic safety measures in place. This visit was supposed to be a relaxing day out, but it turned into a stressful and unpleasant experience. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes immediate improvements.

Had a very good stay at saavaj resort. We had an amazing conference at saavaj resort. They have fulfilled all our requirements as we needed. Staff is so supportive and the service was amazing. Food was so delicious. I strongly suggest everyone for their parties, conference.

Had a great experience at Saavaj! Amazing location, very well maintained property. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well decored. The best part it the resort is vegetarian! The food is excellent with local Gujarati and a number of variety of dishes. The pool was well maintained. The indoor activities room could have been maintained better! The Tribal show in the evenings was entertaining! They also assist you in organizing Safari's to the Gir forest. Overall, it was a wonderful and happy stay! Definitely recommend.

Third class experience with resturant, breakfast, dinner very bad, no cleanness in the restaurant, water depspenser put near wash area, used plate counter near buffet counter and it's very dirty, no table Cleaning after breakfast and dinner , only positive thing is location and room , otherwise this resort is not good for family tour. If anyone wants to come here please don't take any meal
