Vice President - The Hotel Navrangpura, Ahmedabad

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and generally had a good experience in old staff (Mahendra Singh ji) presence. However, during my recent visit, I encountered a disappointing situation. A newly appointed staff member, Om Raval, charged me 35 for a water bottle that clearly had an MRP of 20. When I inquired about the price, he explained that 5 was for GST and 10 was to ensure profit for the hotel. In my previous stays, at least one water bottle was always provided complimentary in the room. This time, not only was it not complimentary, but I was also charged significantly more than the listed price. This kind of treatment, especially towards a regular guest, is extremely disheartening and unexpected. Is this really how loyal customers should be treated?

The reason I'll give 2 stars is because the staff tried to put some effort into the service. Our room was stuffy with a flickering light which wouldn't go off, bathroom door didn't lock and found small bugs on the furniture.

Hotel Vice President is a great place to stay in. The hotel's general manager Shri Shantilal Meena ji is a good man. He pays great attention to every aspect of the hotel. I and my wife stayed there for four days. The hospitality and warmth of the staff was truly appreciable. We look forward to visit ahmedabad and again stay at this wonderful hotel.Truly the hotel justifies the saying Athithi Devo Bhava .

I checin this hotel .We book 1 room. Gave our documents and they handed us the keys. After 2 Hrs when I was in my room,I was taking rest and a hotel staff member walked in, The staff member immediately demanded payment with QR Code in hand, which felt like a violation of my privacy and safety. The staff member's behavior was extremely unprofessional and lacked any sense of respect for the guest's privacy.

Should be renamed Hotel cockroach palace Not at all clean ... didnt care to change bedsheet or clean any corner ... full of cockroaches ... went with family had to run off asap

Really bad experience, The food service is not available most of the time, You need to call them 100 times to get them to clean your room, The bed sheets weren't really that clean! Better staff, better fooding can only save this place!

have been staying in this hotel since last 20 years saw its glory and down its dying days it seems , rooms have become old , reception is missing as nobody is present there manytimes, hotwater missing now, no food served tough they have a menu, no breakfast, parking is on pavement , only best thing is it's walking distance to metro station, riverfront and income tax circle etc

It was a pleasant stay there. The location is superb near the Sabarmati River good for a morning walk.
