Hotel Shobhna Palace

Please don't go with five star reviews especially the ones without comments, they are all fake. I confirmed booking in this hotel a month in advance through an online hotel booking app as I was travelling with my family. On the day of check-in when we reached the hotel, the owner straight away refused the booking stating that online booking is permanently closed since last two months. It was a total scam to earn a few more rupees as rooms were available but, at double price of the booking amount. This is a shady place with a rude and insensitive owner who left my family (which includes 2 senior citizens) stranded in 40+ degree heat. The amount which the owner asked was insane and it made no sense for a hotel which was built inside a residential building. Later when I checked, the hotel was available on all major online booking apps for a discount so, the owner was lying and is running a scam of taking advantage of tourists' need to stay.

Terrible Experience - Dishonest Booking Practices I had a confirmed online reservation at this hotel on match day, only to be informed at the last minute that my booking was "canceled" without any explanation. When I arrived, the hotel staff claimed there was no record of my reservation - yet they conveniently had rooms available at a higher price if booked directly on the spot. It was obvious this was a scam to get more money by canceling cheaper online bookings. This kind of dishonest and manipulative behavior is unacceptable, especially for travelers who rely on confirmed reservations. Avoid this place if you want a reliable and stress-free

The behavior of the reception manager was poor. He charged extra and refused to give a bill. Shady hotel.

I visited this place this week and i was very comfortable to stay there . And staff was very kind and familiar. And room was good and neat and clean and service was very fast and there is free space on tarrace where we ca seat peacefully and work.

One of the worst place to stay over there. Once I stay with my fiancee and there was such a bad experience we faced. There is running illegal activities like drinking happened. 10 to 15 people over there and they are drinking and talked with very shoutly and there was a very Disturbing environment create. When we go out the room and going to manager for room change request suddenly one of the staff member grabbed rooms key from our hand. We request to manager for Room change he demanded high amount worth Rupees 4 k for new room which is very unhygienic and unsafe room on fith floor. We already paid amount for our booked room and he is not adjusting the amount. Manager namely Shankar Patel behaviour very Roudely. His way of talking mannerless. My personal suggestion to don't go there with family, wife or fiancee. Very unsafe place for Female .

Nice hotel and good service room also clean and good

The rating of the hotel Shobhana palace and actual facility doesn't match. How can they name it "Palace"?? The room size while booking on the MMT app was 120 sq. ft. but in actual the room is hardly have carpet area of 65-75 sq. ft. Bed size 5.5 ft x 5.5 ft approx, 2 ft space to move around the bed and the room ends. They did not provide Towels, soaps, shampoo. They control the geyser power supply from hotel reception, so weird.... The ceiling fan was at height 6.5 ft because ceiling height is 7ft. Does the hotel have fire department NOC? They seems to have illegal construction to include balcony space into hotel room. MMT team need to do due diligence of this hotel property and check all NOCs from AMC corporation. I urge MMT team to visit this property, please. Don't trust the photos.

To be honest this hotel is quite good and the staff was also good and the main thing is the cleanliness and hygienic environment.
