Hotel Aaram Orchard - Near Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad

Overpriced hotel in a very bad location. As soon as we entered the room there was this uncomfortable damp smell. The ac was not cooling, the tv was not working. There was no kettle and complimentary coffee and tea sachets in the room. There was only one towel in the bathroom which was not very clean. Spotted few cockroaches running around the room. Overall would recommend never to book this hotel. For the price of 3500 everyone accepts the basic amenities which were missing here.

Very Disappointing Experience - Unreliable Booking I had a frustrating experience with this hotel in Ahmedabad. Despite booking through Booking.com and receiving a confirmation email and message, the hotel denied my reservation upon cross checking via call (I was trying to double ensure). They said they hadn't received my booking and that they were fully booked. As a result, I was left stranded and had to rebook at a much higher price with some other property. The lack of communication and poor handling of my reservation was really disappointing. I wouldn't recommend booking through Booking.com - maybe try calling the hotel directly to avoid any issues.

The service could have been better and the staff were hesitant to share wifi password by giving lame excuses.

Ambiance of the Hotel is very poor. Rooms are too small to stay. Rented on 2nd and 3rd floor of the building with a narrow passage. Very old building. Somehow managed an overnight sleep.

It's an average hotel. Very congested corridors. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. The helper persons were kind people. Since the hotel is located in the city centre many might prefer, but there is no parking facilities. The ambience is also average.

Accommodation was arranged as part of Rajasthan tour by Nirmala Travels. Location is not great. Hotel is just above average. Room is small but ok for just a night's stay. Room a/c was functioning considering the onset of summer season. Food was arranged by Nirmala travel's regular team and it was good.

The accommodation is good enough for budget conscious business travellers. The room is small but neat and clean. The only shortcoming I felt was the lack of bathroom towels which may have been a minor oversight. I found the bathroom slipper they provide as a thoughtful addition. Even though my room had street facing windows, I wasn't disturbed by any noise or light from outside.

Great bathroom, warm water takes a little while to arrive but one has an access to quite an unlimited amount of it for bathing during all the times of the day when it finally gets coming. Good food, hospitable staff. Highly Recommended for a low budget stay. The only drawback: The exact location a bit difficult to find out, also the transactions could be more electronic/cashless, rather than all cash transactions everytime.
