Hotel Ecce Inn

PROs: Rooms are large and the beds comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. CONS: DOGS barking all night! Cabs honking for clients to come out. Towels are threadbare, no coffee or tea in room. Extremely hard to find, even with Google maps providing directions.Pool was tepid and the (NOT) hot tub was cold and no bubbles Had to go all the way to main office to get towels, rather than having them at the restaurant or bar which are right by the pool area! Our travel companions had an even worse experience; no hot water in first room, dripping food? on walls and bedding and loud barking dogs!!.. moved to second room. Still loud barking dogs all night, tv didn't work, staff came and did an update, still never worked! An absolute disappointment for all if ys. Not worth the price we paid. Truly a shame considering the potential of the place. Do NOT recommend and will NOT go again.

Super clean and comfortable place. Nice beds, huge rooms, great A/C and bathrooms . Affordable restaurant on site with good food and decent sized menu. Very nice staff. Large pool area and playground. Overall a great experience at a great price. If you are looking for something a bit upscale this place is easily worth the cost.

The worst service I have ever received in any hotel around the world. Staff who do not know their job and have no interest in the customers. Clearly whoever owns this hotel has no interest in how poorly it is being run. Twice a member of our party was given the keys to an occupied room. When they finally got a room to themselves, it had no hot water. Constantly the staff tried to charge us for food and drink we had not ordered. And the food and drink we did order only arrived after we asked 3 or 4 times. Many items on the menu not available due to being sold out. The booking that had been made 8 months ago had been lost, even though we called to confirm just a week ago. Utterly pathetic. Such a shame because the hotel itself was very nice looking. The pool is far too small though for the size of venue. And the staff really are the worst in the world. I would not recommend staying here unless they replace the management and bring in someone who knows how to run a hotel.

Stayed there during a work trip, and now I definitely want to go back and stay again for a vacation. It is a gorgeous resort with a huge pool, full gym, a bar/lounge, and sports courts (tennis, basketball, and soccer field). Since I went for work I wasn't able to enjoy all the amenities the hotel offers but I plan to go back so I can take advantage of those. The hotel room was very large and the hotel had an extensive restaurant menu.

Beautiful property set up for conferences and weddings so on the Tuesday night I was there, we were among just a few other guests. Staff was great and the restaurant provided a tasty evening meal. Reasonable room charges, two king beds in our room, included a really great breakfast. Taxi to the airport, arranged for by the front desk, was a short ride and only 70 pesos. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

We ended up here by accident, but it was the highlight of our trip. This beautiful hotel is an oasis-amazing attention to detail in the rooms, amazingly comfortable beds, immaculate pool, restaurant and bar. ||Our service host, Pepe, treated us like family, arranged travel, and his Spanish/English fluency helped to ease all of our questions and concerns. ||Hotel Ecce IS customer excellence, they live it in every motion and act. |Highly recommended!

Stayed at Hotel Ecce Inn because it was close to the Leon airport. It's a gorgeous property. Clean, spacious, elegant, quiet. The food was great and Pepe the server was the most helpful and friendly hotel staff I've ever encountered. He went out of his way to see that we had everything we need, arranged an Uber for us to the airport and also had sandwiches for us for our 5:00 am flight. All without his asking. The pool is spectacular, and we would certainly stay here again.
