Nice, clean hotel , close to airport. Good service

The rooms and showers are very clean. Internet is great. Breakfast area is large but always crowed. Food selection is very good for this price range. Parking is a problem, especially if they have events on the property. Highway access is easy. It is not a quite room/hotel. Elevator bell noise, highway noise and railroad noise are easy to hear. If you need a quite place they may not be for you. Staff is good and helpful. There is not a restaurant on property and none within walking distance.

I spent two weeks at the City Suites Silao Aeropuerto (No. 900 A, Libramiento Nte., Los Fresnos, 36126 Silao),waiting for my flight in BJX/Leon. Prior to coming to this hotel, I spent one night at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Silao-Aeropuerto Bajio (Carr. 45, Silao - Leon 550-Km. 152, Predio Rosa de Castilla, 36126 Silao). I did not have a good experience at the Hampton Inn, so then left to spent 14 more nights at the City Suites in Silao. There is no comparison quite frankly, and wrote a review about my experience at the Hampton Inn Silao which was a major disappointment. ||||The City Suites you will recognize from a distance - its a tall gray/pink building. The rooms are huge in comparison to the micro sized rooms at Hampton Inn. The rooms at City Suites have either 1-2 beds, a full kitchen including dishwasher, sink, refrigerator, stove top burners and all dishes/pots needed. A breakfast bar with 2 stools, a long sofa, coffee table, desk and office chair, night table, full length mirror, bathroom sink, shower, toilet and closet. Thermostat can be controlled in the room and the a/c works great. Huge bath towels (bigger than any other hotel) which were great. Two large windows with black out shades and privacy shades as well, a tv (never used it) and plenty of lighting around the room. Bed pretty comfy, shower pressure medium (hot water is fast). You can live in this place - I did for 14 nights. The breakfast was Way better than Hampton Inn (which was disgusting). At City Suites you have an espresso/cappuchino/americano machine, freshly squeezed orange juice and some other green juice, fresh fruit every morning (watermelon, pineapple, mango, papaya), some veggies, cheese, yogurt and granola, some white/wheat bread, cereal boxes, milk, and each morning the 'hot entree' changes - it is some variation of scrambled eggs (pretty spicy most days), or with ham, chilaquiles, and on lucky days some type of potato dish as well. There is a large eating area (just wish they did not play the tv there in the morning, its really disturbing). There is one vending machine in the entrance of the hotel. There is an outdoor pool, workout room, laundry room, and free airport shuttle. ||||Now on to the most important part that made my stay so much better - the staff. I have traveled the world, been to 5 continents, and have to say this hotel has some of the friendliest, most genuine staff I have ever had the chance to meet. Everyone was so friendly and kind - even though they did not speak English (except for Temo the manager), so google translate came in handy. Temo the manager was so helpful and I was thankful he was there to assist whenever needed. Also at the front desk Daniella (asst. manager) and Chepa. The housekeeping staff was meticulous, hard working, so friendly and always provided me with whatever I needed - Moni, Mary and Juanita - all amazing women who were the best. Each morning I was able to see Barbara and Felix - in the kitchen/eating area - and they were very kind to supply me with my favorite items if they were not there! And last but not least, super friendly security - Daniel and Alfredo - who were always saying hello, delivering things to my room and always with a smile. The hotel and staff were exceptional...||||As far as the negatives - the toilet seat in the room is too small for the toilet. There are train tracks on the side/back of the hotel and the cargo trains run both day and night - blowing their horns for extended times, which is very disturbing, and will wake you if a light-sleeper. There also is no where to walk outside - it feels like an industrial area, and you would be walking on a highway, too far from anywhere. Thankfully, Rappi does deliver to the hotel (limited restaurant options, and delivery from Soriana supermarket) etc. Hotel was very comfy, and I worked remotely the entire time - and the wifi was stable and fast. Highly recommend.

Hotel is fine but services...oh gosh... First of all, no one at reception speaks english...common, it is an airport hotel. my reservation says: free airport tranfers, they don't provide it Room floor was not hoovered, was full of dust and small pieces of I have no idee what No toilet paper...

Front desk was friendly and attentive. Minuets away from BJX airport. Snacks and refreshments available for guests in the lobby. Rates were very reasonable. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. No restaurant, only room service. Menu was not the best but had enough to find something to satisfy your hunger. Shuttle service available BUT it begins and 8am, my flight was at 6:30am so I had to pay for a cab.

Travelers BEWARE! This hotel advertises airport transportation with your stay but this is not true! They don't have drivers! They will give you a dumb excuse such as: the truck is not working or the truck has no permit to enter the airport? The noise from the cars on the freeway does make it hard to fall asleep and the train as well.

So we stayed two nights in this hotel. The night we got there the two front desk girls were super stressed out like not knowing how to use their computer system. So we paid with two cards, and this is why I said save your voucher, because today I did the check out they lost one of the vouchers and they wanted to charge me again for one night. Good thing I had my copy so they say it was already paid. One thing I dislike a LOT is the attitude of the manager like showing me I wanted to avoid the payment when clearly it was their mistake.||They served breakfast but save some time because they ran out of food very specially when the hotel is full. ||Also we paid a 4 people room and every day we had to ask for extra towels. The one star is because beds were OK, customer service: bad, breakfast service: bad.

We booked the City Express at a busy time when every hotel in Guanajuato was sold out and we settled for accommodation nearby. The rooms were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We had a challenge contacting room service and our simple order was not quite right. However, the breakfast was one of the best encountered after staying at many "breakfast included"Express hotel and motels. Overall City Express was great value.
