Guest house casa Miramar

When we arrived, the accommodation was very small in comparison with photos they provided, so we asked to change the room for a bigger one. Aftaab, the manager, kindly agreed but said it would take 2 hours to clean. We returned after 2.5 hours, but the room was still dirty. After waiting an additional 40 minutes, it was finally ready. Both rooms we saw smelled of dirty rags, especially the bedding. We requested recently washed or new pillows, but Aftab said it wasn't possible. We contacted Phil, another manager, who said he'd help next morning but never did. After several attempts to reach the host, we had to buy our own pillows, spending over 1000 rupees on taxis. Despite promises, Phil never provided pillows and stopped responding in a WA messenger. Amanda (the owner) also ignored my messages in Airbnb. So the room reeked, and loud barking dogs outside made it impossible to sleep properly. We left exhausted and unhappy after a few days. I do not recommend to stay here.

The room itself was not particularly impressive. The bedding and furniture felt quite old but it's decent enough to stay and beach is within walking distance.
