Bis-LIN Home Stay

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at Bis Lin. Easy check-in and clean and very spacious room. Also, it was a walkable distance from Miramar Circle, which was perfect since my husband was participating in the Ironman event. Darryl was a very nice host, very friendly along with his kind helper. It was a very homely stay and we highly recommend it!

Room was perfect, service was incredible. We got our room upgraded free of charge and he let us leave our bags there overnight and during the day. Highly recommend.

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were neat. We booked family room for a group of 5. Stayed for a night, friendly owner Darryl gaaru. Property is in nice Location, starbucks in walkable distance. 2-3km to casinos. After looking at the neatness, we booked another room for friends for the same night. Overall, positive about the property. Will book again if I have to stay in that location in future.

Appropriate location, Good service and neatness of the rooms. No regrets will definitely be back whenever we are in Goa. No need to search for another lication

The location is very ideal! Centre of the city close to casinos! And the host is very very cooperative and friendly. The rooms are very very clean and I loved the experience of my stay and would choose to go again the next time!

Overall Bad experience, due to the fact that every amenity is extra charge. Although, it is written everywhere, which is the argument owner used, we do not check these things so carefully because we expect these amenities in most places. It is a fault on our side to not check these things, but still it leaves a bad taste.

The only advantage of this place is its proximity to nearby attractions and its peaceful locality. Unfortunately, my experience with the owner was quite negative. Initially, the price quoted over the phone was one thing, but upon visiting, it escalated significantly. It started at around 2k per day, then rose to 2500, 3000, and finally 10,000 for three days without air conditioning. AC was an additional 500. They initially promised daily sheet changes, but after settling in, their extensive rule book stated room cleaning would only be done twice a week, which they didn't even adhere to. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, practically rock solid. Cockroaches were a common sight. In a clear attempt to coerce guests into paying extra for AC, they conveniently left out nets on the windows, forcing you to close them and heat up the room. The shower was perpetually clogged. There's a lady managing the house who insists guests take out their own trash to the government waste collector who comes by daily around 10 am. Their check-in and check-out timings are rigid. Staying past 9 am incurs additional charges for every minute. It felt like they were exploiting tourists, continually increasing prices. They insisted on cash payments to avoid taxes and used deceptive tactics, like claiming the room you're getting is suddenly a deluxe room at a higher price, even though other rooms remained vacant. Overall, these people seem to target and exploit tourists new to Goa. I would advise avoiding this place to prevent being duped. Don't be misled by the seemingly positive reviews online.

Darryl uncle has a beautiful place. Loved my time there. His rooms are tastefully decorated, it's clean and has clean toilets and sheets. The proximity to the city centre is an added advantage. 100% recommend this place.
