Hotel Royal Altis

The hotel was decent for a one-night stay, as we had booked it through Agoda. Considering the price, the rooms were okay. Initially, the AC wasn't working, but upon our request, they changed the room. However, we faced a strange issue where the room got locked and couldn't be opened with our key from the outside. Even the receptionist tried using the same key but was unable to open the door. Eventually, they had to call the security guard, who opened it using a security key. This was quite unusual. When we asked about it, the receptionist casually said, "Hoga kuch issue" (there might be some issue), which was unprofessional. There's a medical shop just opposite the hotel, and it's located near airport Road. Overall, it's manageable for a short stay.

New hotel on the main road side near the airport with spacious rooms and good amenities. Service could be better. Had a minimal spread for breakfast and did not have hot water available. Overall an ok option for stay.

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the unacceptable service my friend experienced during her recent stay at HotelRoyal Altis. The incidents she faced not only compromised her privacy but also her sense of safety, which is inexcusable for any hotel, especially one that caters to female guests. While my friend was in her room, a member of the housekeeping staff entered without knocking or asking for permission. This invasion of privacy is both surprising and entirely unacceptable. Later that day, a security guard attempted to unlock the room door using a stolen key from the reception. This raises serious questions: how does a security guard have the authority to access a guest's room, especially by taking a key without permission? What could have happened if my friend hadn't locked her door? It's concerning to think he may have been planning something inappropriate, and it's evident that this security guard may have engaged in similar behavior on multiple occasions at the hotel. It is appalling that these incidents occurred in a hotel setting, where guests should feel secure. Moreover, my friend's complaints to the front desk and management went unaddressed, which reflects a serious lack of concern for guest safety and satisfaction.

Very good hotel and nice rooms within the budget. Locality is very good and 5-10 minutes away from Airport.

1/5 - Disappointing Stay I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues. Security just barged inside the room with attempting multiple times by unlocking the room Poor Service: Staff were unresponsive to issues we faced Same curry was served for 3 days breakfast with idli , n gave spoilt fruits N mainly the house keeping enters the room with intimation and even the worse part is security has access to the rooms And the action taken by management was zero So we had to legally go ahead Will I Return?: Unfortunately, no. Would I Recommend?: No

This hotel is not safe for ladies. Unacceptable Housekeeping and Security Practices I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I experienced during my recent stay at HotelRoyal Altis . The incidents involving housekeeping and security have left me feeling compromised and vulnerable. Incident 1: Unannounced Entry by Housekeeping I was in my room when a housekeeping staff member entered using their key card without knocking or seeking permission. This was a shocking breach of my privacy and personal space. Incident 2: Security Attempting to Unlock Door Later that same day, while I was still in the room, security personnel attempted to unlock my door without announcing themselves or obtaining permission. This occurred despite my having extended my stay and ensuring that the hotel was aware of my revised check-out time. I find these actions unacceptable and unprofessional. As a paying guest, I expect a basic level of respect for my privacy and security. These incidents have compromised my trust in your hotel's ability to provide a safe and secure environment. I have complained about this front desk staff and manager is least bothered about the situation

This place is the worst place to stay, especially for women and family travelling, there's no safety at all, most of the male staff barged in to our rooms without our permission and even the watchman had access to the keys of the rooms and tried to force himself in after multiple failed attempts. The food is the worst, they gave food which was 3 days old and rotten fruits.

My stay at Hotel Royal Altis was very disappointing. The staff were unprofessional, housekeeping was inconsistent, and the front desk was unhelpful. The hotel felt poorly maintained and lacked a welcoming atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable stay.
