The Treat Hotel

The treat hotel is a very good option to stay in madgaon. The hotel staff especially Ms. Velisha, Ms. Anitha, Mr. Deep and Mr. Sunil are very customer friendly and assist in a very polite and professional manner. The manager Mr. Suranjan manages the customer delight factor well and good guidance to move around the city. Hotel is well maintained and clean with timely housekeeping services. Restaurant services can be a little better in timings. Overall will recommend this hotel

Review: 2/5||The location of The Treat Hotel is good as it is in the market area, making it convenient for travelers. However, the rooms are disappointing compared to what is shown on Google and other websites. The bed is uncomfortable, and the room is infested with cockroaches, which makes the stay unpleasant.||Breakfast options are very limited--only aloo paratha and bread omelet are available daily, with no variety. While the dinner quantity is good, the taste is bland. To make things worse, the restaurant service is poor, with the staff seemingly intoxicated while serving.||Overall, the experience was not worth it. The hotel seriously needs to improve its cleanliness, food variety, and service quality.

It was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. The state of the room and bathroom was completely unacceptable, and I feel compelled to warn others. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. The carpets had visible stains, the furniture was worn and scratched, and there was a musty odor that made it hard to breathe. The bedding didn't seem fresh, and the pillows were dirty,flat and uncomfortable.The walls were so thin that I could hear every conversation and noise from the neighboring rooms and hallway. The bathroom, however, was the worst part. It was filthy, with mold in the corners of the shower and around the sink. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and there were hair strands in the sink and on the floor when I arrived. Despite bringing these issues to the staff's attention, they were dismissive and offered no solutions. For the price I paid, this level of service and cleanliness was unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here to anyone. There are far better options out there that actually value their guests and prioritize cleanliness and comfort. Avoid this place at all costs!

I had one of the worst experiences at this property. I had paid in advance directly to The Treat Hotel on their request, and upon arriving, I was shocked at the state of the rooms. The rooms were extremely dirty, the linen looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and there were even cockroaches. It was absolutely unhygienic and unimaginable, especially for a family stay. When I complained, the staff showed me other rooms, but all the vacant rooms were just as bad--heavily used and poorly maintained. I requested a refund, but that's when the staff's behavior completely changed. They asked me to contact Agoda, which I did, and Agoda agreed to cancel my booking. However, since the refund was supposed to come directly from the property, the situation worsened. The staff became uncooperative and even challenged me when I asked for my money back. Also, don't blindly trust the photos uploaded on their listing--they are totally different from reality. This experience was not only frustrating but also disappointing. If you care about cleanliness, hygiene, and respectful service, I'd strongly recommend avoiding this property. Save yourself the trouble and find a better option.

On the last day of our trip, we decided to stay near Madgoa for a more convenient departure, but it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The room was extremely dirty and unhygienic--stains on the pillows, broken sockets, a damaged bathroom ceiling, cockroaches, bedbugs, mosquitoes, dirty curtains, and bird droppings and fur on the balcony. We raised multiple concerns and complaints with the hotel management, but nothing was done to resolve the issues. The so-called manager tried to avoid a refund by giving one nonsensical excuse after another, like a chameleon changing colors. When they offered us an upgrade to a "deluxe" room, we refused, as it looked no better than the first. In the end, we had no choice but to leave. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise against staying here. The lack of cleanliness and poor customer service make this hotel far from acceptable.

Horrible night. I have been there for 3 - 4 times and every time i have found cleanliness issues. Rest the room hygiene is ok but the blankets n pillow were full of bed bugs. The staff gave me other room but this problem was there in that too. I have raised complaint on the counter but no improvement in them. Anyone who is still interested to book room over there please check your pillows and blanket proper before using.

This hotel is hidden gem for the cozy and calm place. The rooms are clean and minimal. The cafe's are nearby at walking distance for lunch/dinner. Staff is really humble and helpful.

We visited this hotel on 30th April 2025 we stayed here for 2 days Our experiance of staying was pleasant as it is located near madgaon railway station (15 min distance) Room No 505 Rooms were spacious and clean have wifi facility with AC Room Service was very quick they have also there own restuarant located at first floor Prices are all reasonable with food having good taste quantity is also sufficent If you visit madgao or south goa and looking for accomadation near railway station this hotel is the best choice
