Silva Heritage

Silva's heritage is a hidden treasure in South Goa, 15 minutes away from Colva & Benaulim Beach. This 350 y/o villa only has 15 rooms which makes it a very exclusive stay for those seeking tranquility and peace. During my stay, they had facilitated my requests from the restaurant/bar Mesa Dulcina which has one of the best dining experiences in the area. Located across the lawn where they usually hold events/weddings, is the pool and bar which you can relax and sunbathe. Otherwise, there are countless of lounge spaces all around the property, for you to unwind. They also provide unmissable itineraries and activities in Goa for guests, but unfortunately I had been sick during my stay, thus being confined only within hotel grounds.

Beautifully restored villa with a special feeling to it. Elegant and spacious rooms. A really unique place if you're looking for something more than just a hotel. Staff were very accommodating. Breakfast is more than you could eat and plenty of options to cater to all preferences. The pool area is a little tired (loungers could do with replacing) but even still quite charming and in the heat of March it was really nice to have. Only other comment is that on day two we experienced the sewage smell in our bathroom but closing the door kept the smell away from the living area. They had some odour / candles in the bathrooms to anticipate this, I think. May be just the old plumbing in the villa. Not a big issue for us. The location is quiet and a bit out the way but we rented a bike and it made the stay super easy and convenient. Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous property and service! Had our engagement party here and stayed during the week and it was wonderful. The heritage resort makes you feel at home and the service is cherry on top! The staff was so kind and helpful throughout our stay and Smita made it so easy to plan our party there and constantly helped us through it. I'm so thankful I found and picked this place, truly felt like we were leaving home at the end of the week. Would highly recommend this stay instead of big hotels if you're looking to spend quality time with your family and loved ones!

From the moment we arrived at Silva Heritage, the warm hospitality made us feel at home. The beautifully restored property blends historic charm with modern comfort, and every corner tells a story. A complimentary dinner with delicious local flavors was a wonderful surprise, and the attentive service made our stay even better. Silva Heritage is a true gem--we highly recommend it for a memorable getaway!

The property is brimming with character and history, the grounds are tranquil, beautiful and well maintained! There are many seating areas where you can sit to relax or work or just to have a quiet moment! It is an oasis of calm! The staff are very friendly and responsive. The breakfast menu is very limited and after a few days I got bored of eating the same things so I stopped eating breakfast there. Overall I was very pleased with the property and its location. I would highly recommend it!

Silva Heritage wasn't just a hotel, it was an experience. The mansion was artfully restored preserving the culture that of centuries before. The staff was very friendly and took every effort to keep us comfortable . The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend the place.

We had an absolutely lovely stay during our time at Silva Heritage. We were craving peace and natural beauty, a break from the noise, crowds and pollution of the big city. We found a cultural treasure full of friendly, warm caretakers that we will remember for a lifetime. The attention to detail of the staff is beyond thoughtful, they provided us with everything needed so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves around the marvelous grounds with the courtyard, pool, and surrounding rural neighborhood. While we were staying there was a birthday party one night, a musical concert the next, and a special opportunity to learn about the local specialty, feni, all provided free of charge as special experiences we were welcome to attend if we wished. It was truly special and unique to stay in a historical family home that was so lovingly restored. The colorful tiles, carved wooden furniture and detailed windows carried us back to another time, while the high speed internet, and other modern facilities kept us comfortable. We looked forward to the scrumptious breakfast every morning, and even though we enjoyed exploring the area for food options, we found the hotel restaurant was our favorite that we came back to time and again. Special mention to the mushroom truffle kichdi! Okay, I have gushed enough, but we really had a nice time and I can't wait to bring my family back.
