William's Beach Retreat

The experience was utterly pathetic. There was no water available for drinking and there was a smell of fungus in the entire room. The swimming pool was so dirty that it was worse than the sea water. There was no Wi-Fi in the hotel. We were utterly disappointed and and it was very difficult for us to pass time there. Please don't go for this hotel it's utterly pathetic.

Average resort, not maintained well, rooms were clean but washrooms were okay okay. Near Colva beach, the swimming pool was kind of dirty but was okay to use and accessible between 8am to 6pm. There was water purifier for drinking water. Less parking space for cars so you need to adjust if any other car want to move.

"Disappointing Stay at Williams Beach Retreat" I had high hopes for my stay at Williams Beach Retreat in Goa, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a highly disappointing experience. 1. Lack of Basic Amenities: No Hot Water: The hotel does not provide proper hot water facilities, which made it extremely inconvenient. Malfunctioning AC: Despite being located in a warm coastal area, the air conditioning was either unavailable or not working properly. Poor Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas lacked cleanliness, which was unacceptable for a hospitality establishment. 2. Rude and Unprofessional Staff: The staff's behavior was shockingly rude and unhelpful. Any requests for assistance were met with carelessness, adding to the frustration. Even the manager, who should have been the point of escalation, displayed a lack of responsibility and disregard for guest concerns. 3. Overall Experience: I expected at least a basic level of comfort and courtesy during my stay, but this hotel failed to deliver on every front. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, as the lack of facilities and unprofessional attitude of the staff overshadow any potential positives. My advice to the management is to address these issues immediately if they want to maintain their reputation in the competitive hospitality industry. For future travelers, I highly recommend exploring other options in Goa to ensure a pleasant and stress-free vacation.

Worst experience! Booked a room here for a couple. The rooms were smelly and bad especially the bed sheets. When asked the staff mentioned they just change the sheets. Giving them the benefit of doubt, the couple adjusted for a night. Next day they still did not change the sheets. When asked the staff rudely said it will be changed every 2 days and cross questioned if the rules were known before. Even after requesting multiple times to change, he shot back saying "what else you expect for cheap rooms? You have not purchased directly from us. So, we are not responsible. Go complain the booking site." When questioned this is not good service by any hotel's standard anywhere, he said those rules are for the hotels at your place and not here. Frustrated, we asked for Manager's number which he said he doesn't have. Tried to call numbers found in Google and Agoda. No response! Ruined a vacation! Won't recommend this Hotel to even my worst enemy! Please stay away.

Location is great. Walking distance from beach. Rooms are spacious but poor service. Electricity keeps tripping very often. The management did not pay heed for our request to an early check even though it was unoccupied. Had to wait for almost 2 hours ( Check in time: 1pm).

I checked in this hotel for a peaceful stay of 3 days. But the staff were very careless and least bothered about complaints against basic facilities which were not proper. I came to know that shower is not working at the time of taking bath, i also came to know that windows are also not opening. Then i told them to repair. Inspite of telling even 3, 4 times they dint do. The next evening when i asked the night staff again to repair he asked me to tell the problems again and again. So i asked how many times i have to tell one problem to fix? Then he started shouting disrespectfully at me very rudely and arrogantly, seemed like he wants to fight phyisycally. I was helpless. I checked out the hotel next day.

Extremely incompetent staff. Never picks up the phone so no way to contact them. Agoda shows check in is 24 hours, but it's actually 1 pm which we found out when we reached the hotel, no way to know that since the staff doesn't pick up the phone. Rooms were not ready at the check in time and we had to wait an hour to get the room. Counter lady was very rude. Description of the room - torn bedsheets, dirty pillows, smelly washroom, murky water from the taps. Swimming pool outside is also dirty and unusable. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The room was dirty, overpriced, the walls and beds were damp, too humid. Smelly. No cleaning was done during our 3 nights two days stay. Overpriced, they charged almost 7k for three nights. Although the location was good they can do with some proper management. The pool was not cleaned, pool water had dead bugs in water.
