Resort Acron Candolim Regina

One of the best hospitality received at Acron Regina Candolim. Best place to visit in every aspects starting from Mr Ambrish Gad the manager very polite, disciplined & friendly. He had taken all our feedbacks gracefully, an absolute gentlemen. Rooms absolute clean & tidy in all aspects from cleanliness to refilling whatever was available as complementary. Support Staffs very polite starting from HK, room service, staffs serving breakfast, lunch & dinner bell boy etc. Pool was absolutely clean & there was a guard all time to keep an eye on children. |Food is fantastic so many variety in breakfast, lunch & dinner excellent job, good offerings for children's as well like juices, muffins, donuts, cakes & pastries. |Property was also maintained beautifully very clean.|Reception team was also very welcoming & polite.|Kudos to the whole team we met & all thanks to Ambrish who made us feel very comfortable & homely. The location is very good. Not on a noisy street yet at a walking distance from the Candolim beach. Breakfast options are very good. Pool area is very clean and you can spend time relaxing in the pool if you don't want to go sightseeing. Also close to the main road where you will find good shops to buy local stuff

Our first stay and indeed a memorable one. The hotel is old and it shows in the room decor but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast provided is plenty and of good variety. Something for every taste bud. The swimming pool is compact and can get crowded if 10 people jump in at the same time. Location is close to Candolim beach. A good hotel with all facilities.

This is part 2 of 2. Please read part 1 which we posted January 2025.|We have just spent 11 weeks at this hotel which is amazing mainly because of the staff.|We think it shows the level that this hotel is at when over the course of our stay standards didn't drop once.|As mentioned previously some rooms and mainly the pool area requires some refurbishment, which the hotel are on with doing, this is very much a 4 star hotel with 5 star staff|At the end of the lane the hotel is situated on is Fort Aguerdo Road, the main road through Candolim. At the lane end you will find loads of restaurants and shops of various wares. Also over the road from the end of the lane is a lane that will take you straight down to the beach and the beach shacks. This lane is about 300 metres long and again lined with shops and a couple of barbers|If you want to go to Candolim beach road it will cost you about INR 300 in a taxi from the hotel, you need to barter sometimes.|We originally booked 8 weeks here but loved it so much we cancelled our 3 weeks stay in Thailand and stayed here the 3 extra weeks.|We ate in the hotel restaurant 2 or 3 times a week because the choice and quality of the food produced by Prasanjit and his talented team was always excellent.|At breakfast each day the hard working Mahesh and his tireless team of waiters were always smiling and polite and seem to anticipate what we wanted. We think also a special mention should be made to the following waiters Gopal, Diwakar, Bharat, Udhaba, Royston, Muna and Ajay who all looked after us at some point throughout our stay.|We never tipped any of the staff at breakfast until our last morning but we were still given the same high level of service, courtesy and smiles throughout the 11 weeks we were there. Which is a credit to the staff there.|Around the pool Ram continued to diligently look after us.|It seemed almost all the staff walked around with smiles on there faces, particularly Jay, who was always smiling.|A special mention I think to Sanjay too, always working quietly in the background to keep the reception and public areas spotless.|The front desk team led by Deepesh continued to give us the same high levels of service when we had need to contact them.|Over the course of our stay, we had 4 different lads who cleaned the room and all did it to a satisfactory standard, but one in particular stood out, Rabindra, the room always had a nice clean smell to it after he'd cleaned it for some reason.|This happy talented team is well lead by Ambarish, the hotel manager. He was always around and very approachable. Always checking to see if we needed anything to improve our stay and recommending places to visit. He was a brilliant help with us when we changed our flights to extend our stay too.|We hope the owners of this hotel really appreciate the excellent team and leader, they have in place here. Because its our appreciation of this team that has made us book to come back here next year on 2nd Jan for 12 weeks this time.|To me that speaks volumes.................

Disappointing Stay with Several Issues We stayed here for 5 days, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfying. Since we were traveling with our baby, we requested a fridge to store milk, but despite paying a high rate for our stay, they failed to provide one in a timely manner. For three days, they made false promises about bringing the fridge to our room, and only in the last two days of our stay did they finally arrange it. Additionally, the hotel had a major mosquito problem, especially in the lift and reception areas, which made the environment quite unpleasant. The pricing for services was also outrageous. They charged Rs. 250 for a single cup of tea, which tasted like hot water with no sugar. When we asked them to make the tea with sugar, they simply handed us a sugar packet rather than preparing it properly. As for room dining, I strongly advise against ordering food. The charges are very high, and the quality doesn't justify the cost. It's better to go out for a meal instead. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations, especially considering the amount we paid, and I would not recommend it to others.

We recently stay at this hotel and services provided by them is awesome. Rooms are very clean and big. Food options breakfast and dinner is class. Veg options are good and multiple choices. Definitely visit this hotel as this 4 star ratings and services also provided same. For early check in please coordinate with hotel reception before arrival as checkin only at 2PM and early is depending on room's availability. You can buy scooters on rent nearby agent 300/400/500 per day as your choice.

We stopped here the last 2 weeks of February and were meeting up with friends in other nearby hotels. From the day we arrived to the day we left, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Ambarish used to check everything was ok for us on a regular basis. Friendly staff from all departments. Nice pool area where the security man at the pool was there straight away whenever you needed him. Good breakfast selection between local food and european. Not far from main road in Candolin where the bars and restaurants are, and ATMs/cash converters.

I would like to share my experience at Acron Candolim Regina, which is truly a fantastic property. I was genuinely impressed by the hospitality of all the staff, especially the Manager, Mr. Ambarish. Acron made our family's anniversary celebration extra special. When they casually asked if there was any special occasion, we mentioned that we were visiting Goa from February 13th to 16th, 2025, to celebrate our 12th anniversary. A few minutes later, my wife received a call about the room details, and to our delight, we were given a pool-view room with beautiful anniversary decor and a lovely cake.||The property boasts a stunning pool where kids can have a blast, along with an exclusive kids' zone. My children are now huge fans of the Acron pool. We had an amazing time, and I'm certain that our next visit to Goa will include a stay at Acron Candolim Regina--it will definitely be our go-to choice!||The front desk staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast area was vibrant, with a wide variety of items served during our stay, ensuring we started each day on a positive note. I can confidently say, "Paisa Wasool!"--it was absolutely worth it! The property offers a lovely view and is conveniently located near Candolim Beach and the market. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend!
