Jolly Panda

Jolly Panda was one of the worst hotels we checked out in Goa. Luckily, we hadn't booked it online, so we were able to avoid staying there. The vibe felt off right from the entrance. The receptionist was smoking next to the pool and didn't bother to come in, even though we were calling for assistance -- he only came once his cigarette was done. The rooms were clean and of decent size, but the overall crowd and the staff did not feel family-friendly. The hotel does have both 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler parking, and a decently sized pool. The property is compact, but the rooms were okay. It was quite cheap, which might explain the kind of crowd it attracted.

I had a fantastic 3-night stay at Jolly Panda in Goa and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a city-centric, comfortable place to stay. The location is perfect--right in the heart of the city, with easy access to the local market, churches, beaches, pubs, and casinos. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants and food joints nearby, so you're never short of delicious options, whether you're craving local Goan cuisine or international fare. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming. The receptionist, in particular, was always cheerful and greeted me with a smile, no matter the time of day. Their warm hospitality really made the stay feel special. The property is well-maintained with excellent hygiene, and the rooms are spacious with all the necessary amenities. The only downside was that our room didn't have a cupboard--if that's the case in all rooms, I'd suggest adding one for guest convenience. The on-site restaurant offers a variety of dishes, all of which tasted like homemade, authentic food. It was a treat to enjoy such fresh, flavorful meals without having to leave the property. While the pool is small, it's clean and a great spot to relax. Overall, despite the minor issue with the cupboard, everything else was fantastic. The location, hospitality, and comfort make it a great choice for anyone visiting Goa. With so much to explore nearby, it's the perfect base for a memorable stay!

Overall I'll give 2 star rating. I stayed for 4 days, few things are there which disappoint my experience. 1. Didn't got the pool view rooms. 2. Rooms are not upto the mark, seelan are there on walls. 3. AC was not working properly. 4. Switch board are not working. 5. Geyser was broke. Staffs behaviour and room service was good.

Its fraud property .. everything of this hotel is so bad.. we booked for 3 days but had to checked out on 2nd day due to worst service.. worst room condition ..breakfast is poha with butter toast everyday.. on asking they didn't even bother to respond. Firstly they said we cant even bring any food to our room.. they said you have to order from his manu with double of price of every thing. And worst taste.. environment is so negative there. Always 7,8 persons from outside sitting in reception room .. they tried to scam every person in name of spa .. which is also not real.. so dont book this hotel if you want to good vacation in goa..

The worst spa!!! Everyone there is a sacammer, we went there for the spa service and ended up give 24000 for the different different schemes, they promise for 90 min spa but after 10 to 15 min they all went somewhere and told us to go to other room and after we went downstairs, we see exit. They are total scammers, don't believe anyone

We booked this hotel based on Google ratings. While the property is decent, it is poorly maintained. The receptionist was very arrogant. During check-in, he insisted on full payment upfront, which we made. However, there was no room service throughout our 3-day stay. Despite requesting the staff to clean the room, no one came. The room was full of cockroaches, the bathroom's wooden door was broken, and there were insects in it. To make matters worse, the geyser gave electric shocks, so we couldn't use it. Overall, it was a terrifying experience. It seems the Google reviews are paid and unreliable. Do not trust them

We had a comfortable stay in Jolly Panda, and an amazing time by the pool side, the rooms were handed over to us in a clean condition, and cleaning service was also provided once in between, the water flow was a tad bit inconvenient but probably because of the festive holi season, rest everything was well taken care of, regularly the host made sure he checked in on us whether we are having a comfortable stay! Not to mention the surprise goodies we received from our host as a welcome token.

We booked 3 days on feb 26 stay worst experience 1) what i had booked i did et get tht room biggest disappointment as it was told pool facing but wasnt. 2) Out lock was broken of the room they had to change sometimes AC doesnt work the bathroom doesnt have a tap for a bucket to fill but it has a jacuzzi giving u dirtiest water there are no toiletries provided u have to get your own even if the place is in a city its little inside only. 3) Restaurent is written 24x7 but it operated till 4 for lunch and starts again at 7 in the evening you have to beg for coffe and tea calling them 10 times to send it to your morning and evening hence we use to order from swiggy which was more faster and better. 4) Rooms are not clean hence once u return ull either have allergic cold and fever. 5) sharing the photos for everyones information do not make the mistake of booking this place like i did because google is paid as this place doesnt deserve more than 2 but shows 4.6 also please note people who are from colleges etc who have budget issue can stay but not for couples and family.
