Hotel Silver Sands Sunshine

We have stayed at this hotel many times and always have a fabulous time.||This time, we stayed in one of the new premium rooms, which were still being finished when we were there in November. They are fabulous . The rooms overlook the gardens and pool and are so peaceful. I loved sitting on the balcony listening to the birds song. The rooms are spacious and modern, and the bathroom/shower is great. ||The hotel is a few minutes' walk to the beach, and everything you need is on your doorstep. ||The staff at this hotel are the reason so many people return year after year. The owners, Lester and Alisha, can not do enough for you. They greet their guests every day and always have time to chat and ensure all is well. Any issues, they will always try their best to help. Every member of staff there, from the waiters, bar staff, room boys, to the cleaners, is exceptional, and many have become our friends over the years. Well done to every one of you!||Can not wait to return again soon, miss you already

We never stayed in 2* hotel and had never been on Goa before. That is why my review maybe is not relevant. Silver Sands Sunshine is located in a very short distance to the Candolim beach. This is a great location with a variety of indiand shops, cafes, and salons around. Also 2 supermarkets are nearby. The hotel is clean, and the stuff is kindly and careful. But there are a few strange things: #bed linen was not changed for 10 days. Only towels were changed; #there is no solid double mattress, but two singles; #some animal walks on the roof at night time, maybe squirrel. It is nosy for top floor guests; #very dirty room's rug, which much better thow away, because it doesn't do the room better. Although the room is properly clean and spacious. There is everything you need during stay: #fridge; #kettle; #air conditioner; #hair dryer; #fan; #safe. The restaurant's food is tasty and fresh. There are usually populous. Room service is exceptional. This is India and there are difficult conditions for business. But we have only one short-term water outage. The problem was solved quickly. And almost all time there was electricity and good quality Internet. It were maybe few minutes breaks and didn't do our stay worse. I think there are no better place for this star's and price's level. Good service for reasonable price. This place which we want to come back. And less than 1 hour way from Manohar International Airport- 30 km only. And important for us: there are no mosquitoes & other insects.

We have stayed here 3 times this last season - as well as a couple of times previously and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time. The owners Alisha and Lester always have a warm welcome for all their guests and the staff provide a great service in a professional and friendly manner. Silver sands sunshine is perfectly located 10 minutes walk to the beach as well as a great selection of restaurants on your doorstep. The Angaara bar and restaurant on site also serves fabulous food as well as a great atmosphere. If you choose this hotel you will not be disappointed.

We stayed for 3 weeks, in the city facing rooms to start off. The room was comfortable, clean and the bed massive. We decided to upgrade to the new premium rooms for the last week. We were very impressed. It was quiet and completely different to the previous room. ||The staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The Angaara provided delicious meals every night. There was great entertainment and all the sport was shown on lots of screens. ||It was a wonderful holiday and we shall definitely be staying there again.

The rooms are quite spacious and good location. But that's it. The owner and the service is obnoxious. They don't even give water bottles in rooms. The breakfast options are horrible. Choose other hotels. We paid more than their usual fare off season for 10 rooms together. And still suffered their rudeness.

We were staying here for our first time and loved the friendly feel of the place. We then noticed some new build units and we upgraded for our last week. We are in luxury. Lovely new apartments which will sell really quickly in the next season, book now while you can....

They can't do enough for you, lovely staff and great lads who look after your room with the cleaning. Loved our room overlooking the road people watching on an evening ||Very central to get to the beach and supermarkets, chemist etc||Had a great stay yet again. And we will be back

Had a great Christmas and new year at silver sands all the staff were great any help we required was sorted straight away. Alisha and her staff were fantastic drinks and food served as requested.Everything we needed for our stay. Alreadybooked to return.
