Good hotel with good hospitality. I recently stayed at the Godwin Hotel for FOUR nights and had an exceptional experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were welcoming and efficient. My room was spacious and clean. Had a great time during our stay. All amenities were up to the mark. Staff was excellent and food was super delicious. Great gesture shown by staff by upgrading our room.

We booked this hotel for our recent trip. The rooms are not well maintained and to add to it even ACs were not working. There was also a constant power cut throughout the night. We found it a bit overpriced considering the service, room quality and food options. We had opted for breakfast and to our disliking there were limited options and once the food was over, it was not refilled. They have a strict policy with regards to outside liquor that they don't allow outside liquor within hotel premises. Only 2 litres of water is given per day and in our case this was not provided for the other day except day 1. While requesting for ice, we were informed to take a bucket of ice which was again chargeable. Would not recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable and chill experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my first wedding anniversary. While the location is excellent, the overall service was disappointing. Room Service: The room service was inefficient. The extension phone in the room was not working, so I had to call the hotel's mobile number for every request. The hair dryer was non-functional, and the air conditioning failed to provide proper cooling despite multiple complaints. Unfortunately, the hotel staff did not offer a solution. Hygiene & Housekeeping: According to the hotel policy, bath towels should be changed if placed on the floor or bed. However, during housekeeping, the used towels were simply placed back on the bathroom shelf instead of being replaced. This was highly unhygienic. Food Quality & Dining: I had booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. However, the hotel decided the menu themselves, without offering customization. The food was tasteless, and even after requesting spicy dishes, they did not accommodate my preference. Pool Cleanliness: The swimming pool was not well-maintained. It had leaves, dust, and small branches floating in it, making it uninviting to use. Staff Behavior: The staff was polite and well-mannered, but service delivery was slow and inefficient. Overall, despite the good location and courteous staff, the poor service, lack of hygiene, and subpar dining experience made my stay unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this hotel unless improvements are made.

The reception area was very nice and welcoming. I paid by Halifax clarity card and lawfully they have to ask me if I want to pay in local currency or sterling which they didn't. I was given a receipt saying I had agreed to pay a 5% additional fee and accept their currency charges. I argued about this for most of the 10 days I stayed there. The female manager was aggressive and told me it would get sorted out, but it never was, and spoilt our stay. Do not pay by credit card here. Many did and had to pay these extra charges, Complete rip-off.|The bedroom was very nice. Cleaners were excellent and toiletries were of a good standard. The bed was very comfy. The room was at the front of the hotel so you could witness the chaos that was Candolim and the frequent accidents on a very busy road. We enjoyed this though others may want a quieter balcony. Wifi was very good and I could watch TV from home through my computer on the large TV with scarts.|The breakfast was fantastic if you like curry-associated dishes. For me, it was egg and toast. Lots of lovely chocolate cakes and on one occasion an amazing chocolate milkshake made breakfast pretty unusual.|The garden featuring a big pool was filled with an abundance of lovely flowers and trees and was a sea of tranquillity when compared to the front of the hotel. Until the locals took over the pool, which they did for an hour most days. At best 20 odd people jumped into the pool with their clothes on, at worst they brought loud music speakers and drinks holding unofficial parties.|After they left, there was a return to peace and harmony. The pool was great, though it suffered from tree debris in the pool. There was no wifi at the pool. Only one bed wasn't broken, and the pool boy often recycled towels that had been used by other guests. Don't accept a towel if it's damp.|Overall, this was a mixed experience that I probably won't repeat.

Insanely overpriced, paid Rs 11,000 per night... most expensive & poor quality place for this price. RIP off! In our month travelling India spending 4 nights here was awful, only cold showers, breakfast was so limited impossible to get a simple milk coffee or cold milk on cereal so we instead ate at nearby restaurants which were thankfully good and plentiful. SAVE YOURSELF A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Had a great time during our stay. All amenities were up to the mark. Staff was excellent and food was super delicious. Great gesture shown by staff by upgrading our room and coming up with impromptu Cake on knowing about our son's birthday.

Never go with this hotel. Pathetic service..staff behaviour is very bed. Even they don't care about guest as well. Swimming pool location is too dirty. Even they are not coming to clean you room. Room phone is not working. They give you personal number for room service and after that they are to picking call. Worst experience ever in goa. Don't judge by the photos. Very very bad experience
