What a shocking experience I have had. I was left feeling shaken and anxious at the way I was treated and shouted at. |Initially my room seemed OK, basic but ok. TV didn't work and the balcony had a shocking view. |So I made arrangements to stay elsewhere. When I tried to check out it seemed they couldn't do enough for me and reduced the daily rate i was paying,so changed to another room with a working TV and better balcony. | 3 times I went to reception to pay my balance and never anyone there. Then the men started telling me to pay, one even followed me up to my room insisting I pay. I explained that I had attempted this 3 times. I even spoke to the owner on Friday who said they would come down to discuss payment with me because the balance was more than expected. She was shouting at me down the phone so I told her I no longer wished to speak to her but would see her in person at 10am. But she didn't bother to come down. |I was made to feel uncomfortable and so found somewhere else to stay. |When I attempted to pay my bill, I was shouted at and told I couldn't leave, that I have to stay or pay until the end of my booked stay. 2 men were shouting at me telling me I'm a liar and a cheat. I was feeling really intimidated at this time. I told them I will pay the balance to today but they refused and carried on shouting at me. I told them I would leave without paying anything if they carried on this behaviour. |They eventually let ne pay the balance as of today. However he then trued to charge ne additional payment for paying by card. |This is absolutely shocking that I was treated this way and felt very vulnerable.

We were told in February 2024 by Valency (the manager?) that the hotel was building 3 new studios on the roof. We booked for February 2025 for ourselves & one of our friends & paid a deposit. A couple of months later Valency contacted me & advised the 3rd studio was also available & so I booked that for some other friends. Shortly before we were due to arrive Valency emailed to say the studios would not be ready as construction had been delayed & offered us 3 rooms in the guest house. As by then it would be difficult to secure accommodation for all 3 couples, we accepted.||We arrived at Casa Almeida this month & were surprised to see the studios were not only completed, but were occupied. I emailed Valency & queried this. She made some excuse about them only having been finished the week before. I asked why our bookings hadn't been transferred to them & the current guests offered the basic rooms but didn't get a satisfactory explanation. I spoke to one of the guests staying in the new studio & she advised she had booked it last March....the month after my booking had been accepted & the deposit paid.||Our rooms were very basic & one of them had a balcony looking straight at the brick wall of the new construction. Our stay was very disappointing & I really feel we were mislead. ||The wifi was up & down in our room. On a positive note, the location is good.

Our experience at this Guest House was exceptional! From the warm welcome to the attentive service, Special Thanks To Mr. Ranjan and Dipu for their exceptional service and friendly behaviour....they made us feel completely at home. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is perfect for exploring all of Goa, with easy access to beaches, nightlife, and attractions. If you're looking for a cozy retreat with great hospitality, this Guest House is the ideal choice!

I stayed in Casa Almedia for 1 day, it was a very good experience. Mr. Ranjan and Mr. Dipu welcomed me very well and had very good behaviour. Location is also nearby, room cleaning is very good, overall experience was very good, I will come again soon.

This is a fabulous hotel a great location the rooms are spacious and clean with air-conditioning, balcony, fridge,kettle ,plus tv with satellite channels plus the staff are first class there is also a pool I have booked for 3 months next year already there is a bit of building work but it will be finished by the summer although it's no problem now

Booked with booking.com travelled from the uk ? And no rooms available !! This is the second room we booked through booking.com please be aware. We were booked under karin and James Manchester and we arrived to your reception we had booked through booking.com once we arrived you had no rooms.

Family Rooms are very congested Response to your reply - firstly there were 4 people and 1 child so your claim of 6 ppl adjusting in one room is false. Secondly, there was no space at to walk in the room, bed is place just touching the bathroom.Hence, inspite of planning to stay for 3 nights we had to check out the next morning.

Located in between Candolim Beach and Candolim Market Bus Stand, Rooms are small but got everything Best and most economical stay
