Hotel Neelam Grand, Goa -- overall a disappointing experience. We booked a room for 4000 expecting decent comfort, but sadly, the quality didn't even match a 1000 standard. Rooms were poorly maintained, the furniture looked worn out, and the basic cleanliness was missing. The bathroom was extremely poorly maintained -- honestly, some public bathrooms are better kept. Broken fittings, stained tiles, and an overall neglected feel left a very poor impression. The buffet breakfast was another big disaster -- very limited options, below-average quality, and absolutely no attention to freshness or presentation. It felt more like a formality than a hospitality experience. The service throughout was average at best -- no warmth or sense of care. Even simple requests took multiple follow-ups. The pictures shown online created very different expectations from the actual experience, which was quite disheartening. Sadly, this isn't just about one hotel. Goa itself feels like it's slowly losing its soul. The peaceful "sossegado" spirit is missing. It feels overcrowded, overpriced, and commercialized -- almost like an extension of Delhi. Prices have shot up, but the quality of service has drastically fallen. Tourists are increasingly treated like money-making opportunities rather than valued guests.

1. Unprofessional Staff: We ordered room service, and the waiter discouraged us from doing so, stating that he doesn't receive anything from room service orders, only tips. His comment was unclear and left us questioning his professionalism. Additionally, when we called housekeeping for towels on the day of check-out, we were told that towels aren't provided on check-out days. Later, the housekeeper reluctantly offered us towels, as though she were doing us an enormous favor, which felt inconsiderate. 2. Food: The quality of the food was disappointing. The breakfast was stale, the tea was under-brewed, and the coffee had a burnt taste. The butter naan was chewy and rubbery, and the overall breakfast lacked flavor and appeal. 3. Room: The room was poorly designed with an unwelcoming atmosphere. The lighting was inadequate, and the room had a strong, unpleasant odor resembling rotting vegetables. The overall hygiene and maintenance were far below expectations. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had in Goa, and we would not recommend it to others.

We stayed there for 5 days in may 2025 1. Interior and furniture of the room is too old and not maintained well. 2.there is no lift facility. 3.cleanless of the room is very poor ,every time we have to call them to clean the room. 4.in resturant breakfast and dinner also not too much good as per the hotel. 5. If you want to visit then first check all the reviews.don't book directly after seen the pictures. 6.some rooms have window AC,that are too noisly. The most and important about this hotel is near the main area,and good open space that we most like. If you are paying higher amount you must get good service.. I WILL NOT PREFER TO BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR BOOKING IF YOU VISIT WITH FAMILY. 2 star for hotel. 4 star for location

I would like to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience regarding my booking from 6th May to 10th May. At the time of booking, it was clearly mentioned that complimentary pick-up and drop-off services were included. However, at the last moment, the staff refused to provide the pick-up, citing that prior notice of two days was required--something that was never communicated during booking.||Similarly, during check-out, they again refused drop-off service, stating that it is only available from 8:00 AM onward. My flight was scheduled for 10:15 AM, and I requested the drop-off for 7:00 AM, but they declined. Furthermore, they refused to provide the driver's contact number, making it impossible to make any personal arrangements.||This is not just poor service, but also misleading and unprofessional conduct. If the complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are not truly available or are conditional, they should not be advertised at the time of booking. The manager's behavior was unacceptable and seemed deliberately evasive. I sincerely hope the owner looks into this matter seriously, as it reflects very poorly on the establishment.

The only good thing about this hotel is it's location. Not that near but you can manage. The property is big and plenty of rooms available. But it is not maintained well. We booked deluxe room but that was terrible old furniture and room stinks very bad. So we decided to upgrade to suite but that is also not maintained well, we paid approx 6k per night but the room conditions was very bad. AC drainage was pouring water in the balcony itself. Intercom was not working and then you need to use mobile number to call reception or Restaurant. Breakfast options limited and tasteless. Don't try restaurant food at all. Washrooms tiles were broken. Swimming pool is a plus point. They also provide pick up and drop from airport that is good but I think you need to pay some extra for it.

The stay went peaceful This hotel is safe and convenient to many people. The room was spacious and was well equipped with relevant items. Front office staff Pratham assisted in giving us comfortable check out.thanks everyone

It's near Calangute beach . The hotel is really good for the family . Food is good. Service is good. They provide free of charge airport pickup or drop one side. If you stay 3 more days ..
