Chalston Beach Resort

We had an amazing 10-day stay at Chalston Hotel with breakfast included, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the rooms were spotless, luxurious, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private terrace - perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.||The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Room service was quick, and the food was delicious throughout our stay.||One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It has two lovely pools, and the beach is literally a 30-second walk away. Baga Beach, with its lively bars and fun atmosphere, is just a 5-minute walk, and Anjuna's famous party spots are only about 20 minutes by taxi.||The entire vibe of the hotel and the area is friendly, relaxed, and perfect for both chilling and exploring. We'll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at Chalston Beach resort for almost four days, we had a wonderful experience with the entire team of it. The place is amazing as it has direct access to the beach! If you are going with family they provide you the big family rooms with necessities of extra beds at extra costs but it's worth! The food and drinks are at the resort itself! The staff over there is very well mannered and makes you comfortable along with the reception staff and the room service as well! Its a worth spending place to stay as we got everything under one roof including swimming pool! The beach side activities you can explore in the late evening and come back to your rooms! Its very hygienic and well maintained with trees and ambiance! We recommend this resort to all visitors who want to enjoy Goa!

Contrary to many other places to stay in Goa, this one is very to the standards of real hotel and good services, and all these at a good price. Clean, well equipped, on the main beach in Northern Goa, walking distance to entertainment and shopping, with swimming pool, restaurant, etc. Rooms with air conditioning (very important factor in this humid climate). Good choice of food for breakfast. Efficient staff.

Wow , this was one of the most amazing holidays we have had. The staff at this place are so friendly & helpful & always make time to speak. We ate at the restaurant every evening as they had a fabulous menu. Our room was one of the garden cottage's & it was beautiful. Cleanliness of our room & restaurant was exceptional. We will definitely be returning & a BIG thank you to all the staff .

Well maintained rooms , spacious rooms. Most of the staff are friendly. Convenient location. Delicious food our waiter (Rohit)that we requested for the duration of stay was nothing but amazing. Loved the beach and water sport right at the resort.

Pros:||1. Situated right on the beach, the sea view from the restaurant is fantastic! In our opinion, that's the main highlight of staying here.||2.Clean and spacious rooms.||3. Lush green lawns, well maintained property and beautiful statues of Buddha :)||||Cons:||1. Once the restaurant is closed and lights are off the beach area in front of the hotel is pitch dark and become hard to spot the hotel. Please at least have a SINGLE lamp post on, and a bigger billiboard so guests can easily spot the back entrance. The security is also non existent there. Definitely needs improvement.||2. Better system to handle housekeeping -- The protocol is to hand over keys to the reception sometime during the day, and houskeeping will clean rooms. I haven't seen this anywhere else, where a guest is required to personally hand over keys to the reception desk, and room cleaning is shut down after evening.||3. Better handle customer requests -- In one particular incident I dialled up reception to ask for extra bottle of water, only to be told to redirect my call to housekeeping. A better thing to do would have been for them to coordinate with housekeeping than redirect guests.||||However, overall our stay here was pretty pleasant, and I elaborated on the cons only to hope them seeing addressed. Will surely visit again, if we decide to stay at Calangute.

The live music at the hotel focuses exclusively on English songs, which most guests (around 95%) don't seem to connect with. Unfortunately, even a polite request for a Hindi song was declined. This was quite disappointing, especially considering the diverse audience. A more inclusive music selection would greatly enhance the experience.

This is a 3+ star beach resort between Baga and Calangute beaches. It is of good size with lush green gardens. There are different types of rooms, the small budget rooms are in the old block with their own reception, even though they are cheaper, but the deluxe rooms in the new wing are a bit higher in price but worth it. They overlook a pool which is advertised as exclusive to those rooms, but not much so. The rooms are well-sized with a small but well-equipped bathroom and lots of storage space. There is a mini fridge and hot drink facility with a sufficient supply of water and tea and coffee. There are two small swimming pools. There is only one beachside restaurant serving all meals, it overlooks the beach with chairs facing the beach to relax and watch the sunset. The breakfast is good with Indian and continental cuisine. The food is multicuisine and is very good. We arrived early in the morning and booked a small room to relax for a few hours from our flight until our booked rooms are ready at 2pm. We paid for the room, but when we checked in our booked rooms, they refunded the cost of the temporary room. This was a very kind gesture; our thanks and appreciation go to Anthony Fernandes at the reception. This is a very good place to relax. This resort is highly recommended if a place near to the beach is required.
