Azaya Beach Resort Goa

Our family of 19 people stayed at Azaya during the second week of March 2025. I am writing this a month later but the memories are still so fresh and vivid thanks to the fantastic time we had at Azaya. The property is one of a kind, a gem amongst South Goa stays. As you enter, its Santorini like vibe with blue and white painted walls kissed with lush pink bougainvillea take your breath away. Their villas are far and widespread, each one offering space, comfort and luxury. The azure- green swimming pool set against the beach backdrop hits you like a breath of fresh air. Their indoor gaming area is well equipped, spacious and perfect to spend some lazy indoor time on a super sunny Goan afternoon. The food is delicious. The beach and its lovely shacks are extremely accessible. The staff though, is the most important and impressive factor at Azaya. Guest service manager Sanjana and her entire team - Raj Craig Ameio Aftab Subhajit Silki Christianna Rajdeep Rylina Anshu Mishra And anyone else whose name i may have missed out, attended to our big fam jam with complete ease and a smile on their faces, always and made our stay eternally memorable. We loved being at Azaya and would definitely go back there in a heartbeat.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the resort! The property is serene, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff's hospitality was exceptional--warm, attentive, and truly caring. Mr.Maliston was very accommodating.|Every detail, from the food to the service, exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

One of the best property to visit in South Goa. Access to private beach is a big positive. Buffet breakfast is a good spread staff are polite and helpful we stayed in 3 rooms . I would like to thank Housekeeping Mr. Elvis for being there for everything we needed and he made sure every time i left the room it was made the way I got it when I checked in. He took every possible care of us about making our everyday filled with surprise and amazing with his towel artwork His daily efforts of making different animals from towels while doing up our all 3 rooms put a smile on our face every single day. Thank you so much for providing us such a relaxing and wonderful stay.

Absolutely horrible experience - avoid at all costs! This was by far the worst resort I've ever stayed at. The villa was dirty, poorly maintained, and nothing like the photos. What's worse, the staff were completely unhelpful and dishonest. We were scammed -- they refused to fully reimburse our stay despite all the issues we faced. This place is a complete disaster. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save your money and stay far away from this so-called "5-star" resort. Total nightmare! . . . . Where is my money?? This is outrageous! You talk about making amends and improving service, but you refused to refund me after everything I went through. Your response is just empty words--no accountability, no compensation. Absolutely shameful for a so-called "5-star" resort. I demand a proper refund, not excuses. . . . . . Don't pretend like you care--you never refunded me despite the horrible experience I had. Dirty villa, poor service, and ZERO accountability. Your words mean nothing without actions. Stop writing copy-paste apologies and actually take responsibility. I want my money back!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Awsome hotel. Great location and very peaceful place. It was a great experience. Rooms are awesome with private garden. Pool is having a great view. Evening times are beach will make you feel at peace. great support by Sanjana maam and staff of the hotel.

This hotel sits in a stunning location by the beach and the staff are excellent, but it is definitely not the 4/5 star rating as advertised by a lot of holiday agencies. If anything it is just about 2 star rating. ||Positives:|Housekeeping - Mustafa was excellent. He cleaned my room daily and throughly for pest control. Changed bed linen daily. Made sure there was enough supply of drinking bottled water in the room.|Restaurant: chef Tara was excellent, cooked great meals at my request.|Waiters/waitresses: Sidroy, Aman, Aptha, Monaj, Joylan, Craig and Bulbul were all friendly and excellent.||Negatives: rooms are dated and requires lot of renovations both inside and outside.|Cockroaches in the bathroom, too many light switches, constant flickering lights, stiff balcony door, TV only worked for 2 days out my 9 days stay, too hot to sit in the balcony because of the high frosted glass balcony wall, balcony walls too high to enjoy the views etc, etc.

Great rooms. It was a very relaxing holiday and the staffs were great.The hotels amenities were top-notch.if you want peace do visit azaya beach resort.Sanjana Pednekar was very welcoming as a Guest Relations Manager. If anything was needed it was dealt with immediately and by ease of a WhatsApp message. I would definitely recommend this resort if you really want to spend some time peacefully.

First thing to know, this hotel is not suitable for children, if you are going with children, stop reading. This hotel is in a fantastic position, right on the beach and close to town. Seagulls restaurant on the beach has amazing food. Food in the hotel is good, but 3 times the price of anything on the beach, which includes drinks, but convenient when chilling by the pool. Service was painful, especially at the hotel's restaurant on the beach which I advise you do not eat at!!! Pool is beautiful, and yes, there are tiles missing, wrong colour tiles in areas and cracks in the side of the pool, some sun beds damaged and umbrellas not winding up or down. Rooms are a bit tired and the hotel is in need of some refurbishment, BUT, it's beautiful. Bed, simply beautiful and so comfortable, air conditioning was bang on, daily cleaning was superb with fresh white sheets and towels and loads of water bottles every day, and the shower was lovely. Pool was clean, quite and a lovely temperature. Sun beds are very comfortable with free, clean towels on request. Paths and garden areas are clean and beautiful. Didn't use the spa as it seemed expensive and never went to the bar as it was always dead and drinks are expensive. When I say it's not suitable for kids, I mean, there is nothing for them. I didn't go with kids but there were some there and they seemed bored. There is part of the pool which is a large jacuzzi and seemed to be adopted by families, but there are so many edges around it, it's an accident waiting to happen. TUI downgraded this hotel but don't let that bother you too much, it's a great hotel in an amazing location that needs some improvements, which I could see them doing while we were there. I'd happily go back!
