Rosastays South Goa

We had a good stay with family of 3 from 27th Feb to 1st March (2 Nights). Property is located on the main road around 5-6 km from Cavelossim Beach and 7 Km from Varca Beach. We had a Goa local Cocum as welcome drink. It was very fresh and tasty. Staff was excellent and good hospitality especially Mr. Anil very helpful and cooperative. Wonderful experience of pool side breakfast. Food quality was good. Only missing thing is there was no TV and Refrigerator in the room which caused lots of inconvenience as they don't provide water bottles and outside water bottle can not be kept cold. Also referifator is an essential and missing. Also room furniture and carpets looks very old and need paint or replacement. A balcony room with balcony view was Excellent. Overall 4 out of 5 marks.

Their warm hospitality, helpful recommendations, and attentive service made us feel truly welcome. Whether it was arranging local food, suggesting hidden gems to explore, or simply ensuring our stay was hassle-free, they took care of everything with a smile.||Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying peaceful evenings on the veranda made this stay unforgettable. We stayed at rosastays villa during a family trip to south goa. Welcomed with drinks on arrival, Anil helped us choose rooms and assist us with questions we had. The property is a warm country villa feel, with plenty of wood and open airy feel. I could see this being a great place for large groups to book. We had plans for dinners, but the options looked great. The morning breakfast was delightful, with a special goan dish also served. The rooms were large and clean. The open balcony and courtyard was exactly what we needed to relax in. The pool was a great touch in the hot afternoons

A quaint, beautiful heritage villa tucked in the village of Assolna. It comes with ample parking space, a common swimming pool, 3 heritage rooms and a couple of other rooms which are housed in the vicinity of the main villa. The rooms are spacious and equipped with basic amenities and toiletries and the villa has a backup generator incase of a power fail. The caretaker, Anil, is polite, courteous and tends to your needs 24x7. The Chef Rajendra Ram is exceptional in curating his local dishes from the North-east but can easily prepare Goan/South Indian cuisine and customize dishes that would satiate your taste buds and your appetite. The villa is surrounded by lush greenery and fields, making it a perfect getaway from the everyday chaos of a crowded city. The area has very low to almost no network coverage, which is a good thing, but the villa offers very good wifi facilities throughout the entire property. Encounters with wild creatures, critters and birds is common, but they do one no harm (something to learn from them). The place is pet-friendly so you can get your four legged friends along and store their food in their storage refrigerator. The Assolna river is a 5 minute drive from the villa, where one could relish a variety of Goan street food from the local food carts along the bridge road. The Mobor beach is around a 20 mins drive from the villa, which is a complete change from any beach in North Goa. All in all, Rosastays made sure we had a good, peaceful, refreshing break from our mundane activities. Will definitely visit again!

He resolved any queries we had and recommended great local spots to explore, making our experience richer.||Authentic Goan Cuisine by Chef Ganesh: Chef Ganesh's culinary talent was a highlight of our trip. He treated us to authentic Goan dishes like xacuti, vindaloo, patal bhaji, rose omelette, and fresh poi. Each meal showcased his skill and passion, giving us a true taste of Goa.||The Beauty of Bungalow: The bungalow itself is beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery with a serene pool and spacious rooms. It's a peaceful retreat.||A True Goan Experience: For anyone seeking a homely stay that immerses you in Goan culture, Rosastay Bara Bungalow is ideal. With warm hospitality, local cuisine, and a scenic setting, it's a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity.

Great: We loved the location, the yummy daily Goan breakfast we couldn't get enough of, the lovely pool, the amazingly friendly service of Anil, and the overall vibe of the 200+ year old heritage property. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.||Bad: There was some black mould in the bathroom in the shower area. We found a couple of dead cockroaches in the shower area that might have come up the drain. ||Just ok: We were asked to pick the same breakfast on all days and didn't have the choice to eat different dishes. We understand that this was a sustainable choice, given we were among very few guests at the time. But worth noting, in case you're traveling with people with diverse preferences.
