Stayed here for a week in June 2023. It was simply, excellent. The garden and kitchen are ideal if you do not want to go out to eat every evening. If you are happy to make a snack for your dinner and then eat it with bottle of wine in the beautiful tranquil surroundings of the garden. Out hosts, Sophie & Yvon were very welcoming and exuded genuine warmth and hospitality, but were never intrusive. Sophie spent time to explain the local sights to see and had an extensive library of maps and brouchures to look at. Breakfast was plentiful and quintessentially French, everything being either home-made or locally produced. We are aready looking forward to returning there.

Positive: Definitely the best place we stayed in during our tour of Brittany. I loved the attention to detail in the decor of the rooms. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade yoghurt, bread and cake. Sophie was a welcoming host, giving us lots of useful information on exploring the local area. Positive: Sophie our host was very accommodating. She spoke a little English and we speak a little French so most of the time we could work out a good conversation. Fantastic breakfast - home made preserves, and Brioche. I particularly likes the home made yogurt. Sophie, if you read this I would like your Yogurt Recette. Little kitchenette was good to have as we could make coffee and chill our wine and wash our picnic things. Basically kitted out but when we didn't expect anything like that, it was all a bonus.. Negative: Could have liked a mirror in the bedroom..

Spotless accomodation! Downstairs living room and breakfast room, second floor room entrance, bathroom, foyer, writing area, third floor, charming garret bedroom. This beautifully renovated Longere, is a wonderful place to stay! There are two friendly cats (not allowed in the rooms), beautiful flowers, and a large garden to stroll around. Lounge chairs outside, confits, jams and honey produced by hotelier Sophie, sumptuous breakfast with homemade bread and fruit bread made in the "maison." Excellent mattress, perfect bathroom, charming host!

We stayed at this delightful Chambre d'hote for two nights whilst visiting friends in the town. It was exceptionally clean and gave an excellent breakfast which included 4 x jams, honey, caramel, a yogurt, bread, home made bread and cake, coffee or tea. The lady Sophie was most helpful. It is well out of town and was really quiet. Will return.

Positive: Very friendly landlady. The bedroom was very nice, big and comfortable. The garden was pleasant and beaufitul. There was even a kitchen area available. Easy parking.. Negative: The room was not isolated enough for noises, we could even hear people talking in other parts of the house..

Positive: Beautiful, comfortable loft bedroom. Home made preserves, yogurt, bread and produce from the garden for breakfast. Excellent separate kitchen facilities available for guests. Private, off road parking..

very nice clean room in a lovely house, Sophie was a very good hostess and provided a lovely breakfast with homemade jams and very chatty and helpful and kind - we managed to chat in Franglais for ages!
