The First Collection Waterfront

My overall experience at the hotel was quite positive, and I found several aspects of my stay to be enjoyable. The hotel itself is well-maintained, and the service provided by the staff was courteous and professional. One of the highlights of my stay was the view from my room, which was truly stunning and added a relaxing touch to my visit. Additionally, the room was exceptionally quiet, which made for a restful night's sleep without any disturbances--something I greatly appreciated. The breakfast offered by the hotel was also satisfying, with a good variety of options to choose from. The dining area was clean and well-organized, and the food was fresh and well-prepared. That said, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The most notable issue was the bathroom in my room, which was quite small and felt cramped, making it a bit uncomfortable to use. Also, I was disappointed to find that the dental kit was not provided, which is usually expected as part of standard hotel amenities. Another drawback was the surrounding area. There is a significant amount of ongoing construction near the hotel, which detracts from the overall ambiance and makes it less pleasant to walk around the vicinity, especially for those who enjoy exploring on foot.

I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough - 5 stars feels like an understatement! After a rough start to my trip to Dubai (my luggage was lost), things went from bad to worse when I arrived at the hotel I had originally booked, only to be told they had no record of my confirmed 6am early check-in (via booking.com) and no room for me. I was exhausted, the staff there were dismissive and unhelpful, saying I might get a room by 4pm if someone checked out and did not even offer me a glass of water. I knew I had to find another option fast. That's when I called The First Collection Waterfront, and everything changed. From the very first interaction, the service was exceptional. Fargallah from front desk was warm, friendly, and confirmed they had a room available right away, even offering me a discounted rate for booking directly. Within 15 minutes, I was there, greeted with genuine kindness, and quickly checked into a beautiful room. What truly made the difference was the concierge, Adi. Upon learning about my lost luggage, he immediately took action--contacting the airport with my report number and personally following up to speed up the process. While I waited, the hotel shop helped me find a bathing suit so I could still enjoy their amazing rooftop pool. Thanks to Adi's efforts, I had my luggage back the same day by 2pm (others had to wait an extra day). The hotel even arranged a car and driver who escorted me through the entire pickup process at the airport. Adi continued to check in with me, gave me his direct contact info, and made sure I felt safe and cared for--something that means the world when you're traveling solo. On top of all that, the breakfast was absolutely delicious,room was comfy, Soluna beach was a great experience, and every single staff member I encountered was kind, smiling, and professional. Having traveled to over 30 countries, I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. What began as a stressful trip turned into something truly memorable, all thanks to the incredible team at The First Collection Waterfront.

Briefly, The service was absolutely terrible!!! They made us beg for services we had already paid for in advance such as an extra bed and breakfast. Had we not insisted firmly they would have made us pay for them again! The reception staff treated us with complete disrespect and disregard!!! In detail, The worst experience of my life - I'm crying as I write this! This hotel was an absolute trauma. We arrived early in the morning after a sleepless night, expecting at least a warm welcome. Instead, the first thing we heard at the reception was: "If you want your room early - pay. Want breakfast? Pay. Even breathing here costs extra." We were shocked. Every decent hotel allows guests to have breakfast if they arrive early specifically that we paid for this breakfast - but here, we were treated like beggars asking for charity. We asked to speak to the manager, and he looked at us with total disrespect, like we were a nuisance. We asked to add a third bed to the room - of course which was ordered in advance, extra charge. Want to access the beach? Pay more. Even the rooftop pool had dirty windows and everything looked worse than the photos online. This hotel is all about taking your money at every step, with zero care for guests or service. Terrible attitude. Nothing like what's advertised. Stay away like your life depends on it.

We had a great buffet dinner at the Local restaurant. Food service staff were amazing and so was the food. The valet ruined the night - when the driver demanded we should tip him - and he meant it. He was asking for our ticket and firmly said "don't forget my tip"..... that was a first for me ... he should wait for the customer to tip him and not demand it like a gangster.

From the moment I arrived, he greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. His attentiveness and willingness to assist with any request truly elevated my experience. Whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring my check-in was seamless, Mr. Faragallah's professionalism and friendly demeanor were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for its beautiful location but also for the top-notch service that Mr. Faragallah offers. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

The First Collection Waterfront in Dubai is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The room service was excellent, and the luxurious atmosphere made me feel truly pampered. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I loved the small details like the personalized welcome message on the TV. The food was amazing with a lot of variety. While the location might not have many walkable areas, which is fine because it's dubai, the overall experience was luxurious. I highly recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely be revisiting when I'm back in Dubai. Everything was amazing, with zero faults

The team is super friendly, helpful and hard working to make your stay the best. Cannot complain about anything. All is super clean, food is super good. Daily there is something different to eat during breakfast. (We had breakfast only) Risen Cafe is a must try and worth it! Thank you all guys for making it memorable for us. You are the best!
