My husband and I decided to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at this hotel. We booked our stay three weeks in advance, looking forward to a memorable experience. On our way to the hotel, we were directed to board a boat. We specifically asked if it was the boat going to the hotel, and we were told yes. However, we later realized--only on our way back--that it was actually the staff boat. This wasn't communicated to us beforehand, and we would have been more than willing to wait for the proper guest boat had we known. Upon arrival at the hotel, no one assisted or greeted us, which was disappointing. While we waited for our room, not even a complimentary drink was offered. Once in the room, we repeatedly experienced delays; every time we called for room service or housekeeping, we had to follow up with a second call just to get our requests fulfilled. My husband and I even had a small disagreement because we couldn't believe this was supposed to be a 5-star hotel based on our experience. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and as someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can say that our expectations were far from met. We were genuinely excited about this trip and had planned it carefully. I even considered recommending this hotel to my colleagues and friends in Dubai, but sadly, the experience was not what we had hoped for.

I had a great experience staying at voco Monaco Dubai! The hotel is modern, clean, and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and stylish. It truly deserves a high rating. The only issue I faced was with the parking and the shuttle/bus service -- they could be better organized. But other than that, everything else was top-notch. Definitely worth staying here, and I'd gladly return!

The hotel is very nice and accommodating. |Their hotel boy Hamim is ver courteous and tidy.||One thing i noticed is one frontdesk staff is very rude and very ill tempered named John. Please tell him to fix his altitude as this is not good for your business, especially he is assigned as your front desk and face of the hotel.||La braserie service is also wonderful. Their staff Melvin and Emy is also very sweet and always taking care of their customer.||La Rive serves the most tasty and good food in the hotel. Their staff is very accommodating as well starting from their Manager who is really nice and cool to speak with and always making sure to attend all the needs of their guest. Very polite and professional and for sure a gem in your company. Their Staff Ruwana is also nice and always smiling. A very polite and sweet person.

Not a 5-star experience -- closer to a budget 3-star by Dubai standards. The hotel is not marketed as a party destination, but we quickly discovered otherwise upon arrival. More importantly, it's advertised as adults-only, which was a key reason for our booking -- yet a child arrived during our stay, which was disappointing. The property itself has great potential but isn't living up to it. Staff could be better informed about promoting the hotel's offerings -- for example, providing clear details on events, optimal times to use facilities, and offering drink packages for longer-stay guests. A designated quiet area would also be appreciated for those not wanting to be around constant loud music. Room amenities could also be improved. Toiletries felt basic and upon arrival, there weren't enough towels provided. Furthermore there is a serious lack of power here. My hairdryer would keep cutting out and eventually stop as well as the music in the evenings would cut out multiple times. Something to be aware of ladies if you need to style your hair! On a positive note, the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive -- every team member we interacted with offered great service. Overall, the hotel feels more like a classier version of an Ibiza strip property rather than a refined Dubai getaway. With a few key changes, it could be so much more.

Overnight staycation this weekend - what a lovely experience. Had a wonderful room overlooking the beach - room was well equipped along with being immaculately clean. Hsking on coridor very friendly. Beds super comfortable. Pockets of exceptional staff - Hotel Manager Hermant, Ana with her amazing energy, Ankush and Suman (hsking), Brandon (beach bar). Left side of the hotel (facing water) is super quiet on the beach - right side chill music - so you can take your pick. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately go back!

We recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was simply unforgettable! The atmosphere was amazing, with every moment filled with joy and relaxation. The yacht was a true highlight -- pure luxury on the water! Stunning views, a refreshing breeze, and music that set the perfect mood. A special thanks for the food -- the dishes were diverse, delicious, and beautifully presented. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway or a fun group vacation. We'll definitely be back!"

Had a wonderful time here! La Rive Beach Club was a great experience--delicious food, stunning views, and a lovely atmosphere. The server who looked after us was fantastic, really friendly and attentive. A DJ was playing live the entire day, which set the vibe. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful interiors and a relaxing vibe. Definitely a great spot for a getaway or just a day trip! The yacht trip to and from was the cherry on top!

Phenomenal hotel. Tasty food. We had the Buffet for breakfast and dinner and it was extremely tasty with lots of options available. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Really pretty area. Foam swimming party was fantastic. Beach is lovely. Lots of pretty shells. Pools are heated. View is incredible. Free boat trip. Rainfall street was also very cool. Lovely vibes overall.
