JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai

As usual, I am never impressed with Marriotts. In this particular case, I would say this is a wannabe 5 star hotel. They saved money in design, something a 5 star hotel should not do. Service was also so so. Average, again, usually 5 star hotels have it on a much higher level. Lights in the room are regulated digitally, no manual option (except bathroom), of course digital does not work properly, it was a question of luck to turn on/off the lights. Good luck in regulating air conditioning (turning it off). You get basic cleaning in the room, beds done, clean towels, trash emptied. For a 4 star hotel I would not expect anything more, for a 5 star hotel.... Breakfast area reminded me of a cruise ship experience (do you want to have such an experience in a 5 star hotel?). After every breakfast I had to take a shower and wash my hair as I smelled like oil (ventilation system poorly done). Gym was great and restaurants within the hotel (asian and indian) too. Breakfast choice was big and good. Certainly stayed at much better 5 star hotels, by my humble opinion does not deserve 5 stars.

This is one of the nicer hotels in Dubai Downtown. Have been here twice and the experiences have been quite different. 2024 experience : One of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel. Stinky and super dirty rooms. Size didn't compensate for how dirty it was. I switched the rooms below I was leaving the hotel. I had one tan team member help me and gave me much better well cleaned room! So ended up staying. The overall hotel is huge and you'd go crazy navigating around but the good is definitely the highlight. 2025 experience : It was much better and an overall great experience. Loved the stay and food and the room was impeccable.

This is the busiest hotel we have ever stayed in, it's also the best run hotel I've ever seen. Tuesday 4pm arrival 4-night stay (2) rooms valets take your luggage directly to room so no searching for bags in lobby after checking in, valet gives you room tour and explains how everything works. Original rooms on 17 but was able to move us to 43/45 floor, front desk should be the training model for Marriott's that's how professional they are. Platinum upgrade to corner suite (43) and other room upgraded to Seaview King (45). This hotel is a self-contained city that is extremely well managed, it was fully booked but you would have never known since the service is so good.||King Suite all luxury 11/2 bathrooms beautifully furnished with great views. Housekeeping excellent 2 times per day and turndown is full housekeeping service. Welcome gift delivered on arrival and then basket of fruit sent up subsequent days. The service in the executive lounge is outstanding and no kids' policy in the evening makes it even more enjoyable. The lounge attendant that helps you in the section you're seated can keep your tip in its entirety and they really appreciate it. One attendant even moved us to a better window table that became available. Received a staff signed welcome note at lounge along with cake as well as a bon voyage note and cake on our last evening. ||The business lunch at Prime 68 is a bargain, the food, service and view all excellent, had dinner at Positano, Kitchen6 buffet and Bridgewater Tavern (sit outside the view at night is great), every restaurant is completely different so none of the food tastes the same. During stay I received email from hotel making sure we were good and if we needed anything don't hesitate to ask , used ATM in lobby twice and needed smaller bills for cabs and tips, I've been to many hotels that regard this as a nuisance but not here front desk very happy to help no matter how busy they were. When you take cabs back to hotel make sure you tell them JW Marriott business bay. This is the best JW property we have stayed at, i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is amazing! We experienced a pleasant family stay with two children in a spacious deluxe room that featured two comfortable beds (1.5 each). The room was well-equipped, clean, and included a shower with plenty of towels. At times, the cleaning service was a bit limited, but it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. During our stay in Ramadan, they welcomed us in the evening with dates and water, which added to the special atmosphere. The pool was clean and beautiful, and the kids loved the daily distribution of small condiments. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. Although the place was busy every day and we sometimes had to wait, one day, due to the high demand, they sent us to the hotel restaurant at their expense - a very pleasant gesture. Additionally, there is a Starbucks near the pool and in the lobby, although the prices there are quite high compared to outside. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended, and I will definitely return. The location is very good and clise to the downtown

4.5 stars. Great service and friendly people. Unbelievable breakfast buffet. Came for a honeymoon and the lady at front desk was a delight for our check in. I forgot her name but she was fantastic. Cons would be location is what I thought it would be and very big hotel so very busy. Pool area is sub par for a hotel if this quality

This is my second stay here and the service level was wonderful. From the concierge to the hosts at Kitchen 6, everyone seemed happy to be there. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well appointed. Housekeeping service was super fast and clean. When we ordered additional pillows we didn't expect them to arrive quite fast, considering the size of this hotel.

Exceptional welcome right from the doors. Room very comfortable with Room amenities managed by a tablet. Could do with more power sockets. Large bathroom with shower and bath. Toiletries provided. Had access to the executive lounge for meals and drinks. Good varieties. All staff very attentive and helpful. You could arrange tours from the reception. There is a shuttle to Dubai mall. Slightly further from the airport but closer to downtown. WiFi available and fitness centre.Overall, great stay and experience. Highly recommended.

The most attentive staff and cleanliness I have ever experienced at a hotel. Lovely Lounge personel who remembers your preferred beverages even though there were many guests. Even so there were always space to sit and enjoy the stunning view, both in restaurants, the two rooftop bars and by the pool. Special thanks to Arfat and the sweet crew at Lounge entrance and service. Hotel cleaning was totally spotless and large refill of water everywhere. We will return.
