Mercure Dubai Deira

Very nice price/quality ratio at this Mercure hotel. ||The good: great location right by the Gold Souk metro (green line) and the rooftop pool, good bed and shower and of course the lovely staff. From reception to pool and the restaurants, everyone is so nice and friendly. Especially Janat at the Farmstead restaurant is a gem. As I recently had surgery I have strict requirements when it comes to eating and drinking, and she was absolutely amazing helping me. Thank you Janat!!!|Another positive is that the loyalty recognition is mostly well done. Upgrade given based on availability (which it was in my case, welcome drinks and surprisingly for a Mercure this hotel has lounge benefits for platinum and higher statuses). The lounge benefits are an afternoon tea served in the restaurant or the terrace, and the evening drink and canapes are served on the rooftop lounge/bar. Amazing, that this is being offered by a 3* Mercure is totally unexpected and such a nice surprise. ||Some small downsides as nobody is perfect: There is outside noise coming in, the soundproofing on the outside walls/windows could've been better as you clearly hear the planes. No noise coming though from neighbors though. |The hotel could maybe hire an extra person for the pool bar, it's manned by a single person and therefore at times very slow (but they are super friendly and I don't blame them, I think this is a hotel management decision). |One thing missing from the loyalty benefits was the welcome amenity in the room. Normally hotels leave a small gift, last time I visited this hotel I had received it, but not this time even after reminding a few times. Eventually I mentioned there's no more need to provide it as I had already eaten and drank enough and couldn't fit in anything before check-out should the gift have been a snack.

The house keeping is worth mentioning in this hotel. They kept my room impeccably clean and tidy. Specifically I like to mention Kumari. She is teh best. She is professional with the warmest attitude. She made my stay feels like home away from home. Management should cherish employees like this!

The hotel is new and features a chic, modern, and relaxing style.||The room itself was a sanctuary -- very clean, chic, beautifully designed, and has a perfect ambiance for a relaxing stay. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't even want to leave.||The staff were very professional, nice and friendly, They may not so overly talkative, but they provide you the must-know information during your stay without overwhelming the guests. Also, their uniform was so nice-- has a friendly vibe too, doesn't feel intimidating to ask questions.||One particular standout moment was when I asked Roxanne for an extra key card, as I tend to forget mine in the room while traveling. She immediately informed me that with Accor, we could use our mobile phones as key cards by downloading the Accor Key app. I was amazed! She assisted me with lots of stuff and she anticipated my needs before I even fully explained it, showing attention to details. This little touch really exceeded my expectations! ||Also, the staff Irene, was very nice and has a welcoming vibe as she always smile and that gives a positive vibe to the guests. ||Also the manager, instead of engaging in lengthy conversation, he promptly asked his staff to assist us and ensured that everything ran smoothly. His quiet professionalism added a layer of comfort to the experience! ||The breakfast buffet offers just the right variety. It doesn't feel overwhelming of having too many choices. Also, the ambiance was perfect.||I highly recommend this hotel! So convenient, location was perfect--just 20 minutes from the airport via train and approx 3-min walk from the train station to hotel. You have everything around the area- shops, convenient store, lots of restaurants! ||I will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel & perfect stay! Reccomend this hotel to anyone needing a good high quality budget hotel in Dubai. I'll definitely be returning.- Housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful especially Kumari. As our birthday fell during our stay they even gave us a complimentary birthday cake to our room & decorated the bed!

This time, my stay was even more special because it was my daughter's birthday. When I mentioned it, your team went above and beyond, bringing a small cake to celebrate. Excellent location, near metro station, near Gold Souk, can just walk. Many restaurants around the area. Clean room and hallways. Nice staff and HK team. A pool and gym at the roof top. I agree on the reviews of the breakfast, does not have variety. You need to request amenities and toiletries as you will not see these upon arriving in your room.

Thanks to the team for making my stay a memorable one. Very big Thank you to DEV from housekeeping department for making the room fresh and superb in seconds. Thanks to the F&B guys and the lady at the reception. I been to almost all ACCOR HOTELS but even My Wife confirmed this is different. I appreciate you all.
