My first stay at Emirates grand hotel has been fantastic. I read negative reviews after booking n was skeptical. But upon mu arrival check in by Mr. Fahad took less than 5 minutes. Location is unbeatable, sheik zayed road on financial center metro station.my room is in 25th floor and is impeccable. Very large suite with standard amenities like wifi. kettle, clean towels, water n toiletries. Room is clean and atmosphere calm. Service is on dot. Definitely value for my money. Will visit agaIn.

I stayed at the Grand Emirates Hotel for 4 days, booking a suite on the 30th floor. Overall, the stay was somewhat satisfactory. The only standout feature in my opinion was the balcony view, which offered a stunning skyline and a partial view of Burj Khalifa. However, I would like to share several observations that negatively affected our experience: 1. Upon entering the suite, we noticed that the room was quite basic and did not reflect the standards of a proper "suite" in terms of amenities or design. 2. Communication with the front desk was extremely slow. On many occasions, our calls were either not answered or the requests were ignored -- with a success rate of maybe 2%. 3. The in-room facilities were outdated and poorly maintained. For example, the mini fridge was placed on the floor, not integrated into any elegant cabinet, and its wiring was exposed and in poor condition. The cooling performance was also very weak. 4. There were no towels or bathrobes in the bathroom. Even after requesting them multiple times, they were only delivered occasionally, and often required repeated follow-ups. 5. The bathroom had water leakage from the ceiling -- a very unpleasant experience. 6. A short circuit occurred in the suite, which caused the lights in the living area and later the entire suite to stop working. It took two days for maintenance to fix it, and the timing of the maintenance was inconvenient. 7. The bed sheets were not clean -- they had visible strands of women's hair, indicating that the bedding had not been changed properly. 8. The room key card stopped working unexpectedly, and the maintenance was only done late at night. This same issue also occurred in the neighboring room. 9. Room service was very poor overall. 10. Some of the male front desk staff were polite and welcoming in person, but when contacted from the room, their response was extremely delayed and unprofessional. Most of our complaints and concerns during the stay were not handled properly. Positive Note: Despite these shortcomings, I must commend the bell staff. Their professionalism, helpful attitude, and swift assistance stood out. They handled luggage promptly, assisted us with anything we needed, and showed a level of courtesy that exceeded even some of the reception team. They truly deserve recognition and appreciation for their outstanding service. Final Thoughts: This feedback is based on our personal experience during our four-day stay. We sincerely hope to return in the future and witness noticeable improvements and impressive changes. Thank you.
The room was clean overall, and I'm thankful to Hamza for assigning us a nice room and offering excellent customer service. The room and bed were quite spacious, giving more of an apartment-style feel, which we appreciated. However, there were too many connecting doors in our room that led to other rooms although they were locked, it made us feel slightly uncomfortable. The TV provided was a large flat-screen, but it wasn't a smart TV, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel was just a 2-3 minute walk from the metro station, which was very convenient.||One issue I'd like to highlight is that the telephone in our room wasn't working. I personally requested slippers, an extra glass, and a dental kit directly from housekeeping, but unfortunately, nothing was delivered and no one came before we went to sleep.||The following morning, I had to make the same request again to the housekeeping team on our floor. After a long wait, hk finally delivered the items in the evening. Thanks to Nay lin. I believe housekeeping should have these basic amenities readily available on their trolley to avoid delays.||I understand the team may have been very busy, which is why I didn't want to trouble the reception further.
I recently stayed at this hotel with amazing room with an incredible view of the Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Zayed Road. The room was spacious, well-designed, and offered breathtaking sights, especially at night with the city lights sparkling. However, the service did not quite match the high standards of the accommodation. While the staff was polite, the response times were slow, and attention to detail could have been better. Overall, it's a fantastic choice if you prioritise views and comfort, but there's room for improvement in service quality.
Please do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel. I did the same mistake even though all the reviews already said it's bad, I went ahead and booked it only for it's location but it was a mistake. Pros: Hotel's location is prime, just next to financial metro station and with view of burj Khalifa along with best view of city Skyline and good connectivity of red metro line. Cons: Rooms - They are in very bad condition. Hotel seems to be goining under renovation making lobby and rooms entire mess and filthy. I arrived late night and got a decent sized room but the washroom was filthy and smelling like pee. Washroom was very old and had stains allover and the jet spray was filthy as hell. I asked for room change that night but reception mentioned that hotel is full and he would arrange room change next morning. I asked for washroom cleaning but when house keeping arrived he just sprayed air freshener that it. Somehow we managed that night. Staff - So next day we went to reception and asked for room change, they assured me they would move our luggage to new room as we were going out. When we came back at 10pm, found the room was not changed, the reception guy was different named "Nishad". He again mentioned that rooms are full and we cannot give another room and there is no renovated washroom for dulex category. We argued a lot and only after making a scene at reception Nishad was not communicating to us directly and had very bad attitude, after pointing out his behavior being in service industry he called up another staff and asked us to show other rooms. They showed us 3 more rooms which were empty contradictory to their statement of "hotel is full". When we went again to confirm one of the available room, I again witnessed a guy arguing for getting room. The new room still was not best just was less filthy then the previous one. Atmosphere - Many people are wondering and I read other reviews that even after worst service how is this hotel sustaining. What I observed is there were lot of escorts outside hotel, in the lobby and each night during my stay I observed it. Being the corporate hub, good location and escort services might be the reason it is able to sustain. If you are family I'll suggest to avoid due to this reason. Since we changed the rooms, they cut over our telephone to not report any further issue, I already read this with other reviews as well. I reported it multiple times but they did not bother fixing it. Wifi was out for entire night and next day morning, I talked with other people staying and they reported their stay was not pleasant as well. Overall, if you want to risk your choice but I'll suggest if you don't want headache please choice for other hotel.
We stayed for six days at Emirates Grand Hotel and had a very disappointing experience. We had booked breakfast as part of our stay, but the quality was extremely poor--far below expectations. We raised our concern and requested a refund, and the staff assured us that it would be processed upon checkout. However, after checkout, there was absolutely no communication. We received no email confirmation, and now they are not even answering phone calls. I feel completely ignored and cheated out of 50,000. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I recently stayed at the Sunday Mega Hotel formaly Emirates Grand Hotel in Dubai and wanted to share my experience. The hotel was well-situated, being close to metro station and tourist sites. My room was well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and no request for assistance was a problem for them. Specially Darlene was very kind, always smiling and very humble. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai.
