Although this is a 4 star hotel, the service truly feels like 5 star and the price reflects that as well. One month ago, we checked in at 4 am with no issues at all. The hotel staff gave us our very first impression of Indian hospitality, and it was a great one. Everyone -- from security and doormen to receptionists and F&B staff -- was kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in two different room types, and both were quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The food was above average, even when compared to some 5 star hotels. The hotel is overall very clean, and the lobby smells fantastic! Curiously, it's very quiet despite being in the heart of such a crowded city. The area felt safe, even though at first it didn't look as safe it seemed -- but we had no issues at all. The location is also good -- it's within walking distance to the British area. Expect some random Indians start talking to you on the street.

Really nice hotel on a great location. To be honest it feels more like a 5 star hotel and the service is really good. Rooms are super clean with a nice decor. Service at the reception is very helpful, breakfast is good and you can order breakfast box if you are leaving early. Bar is also great. Would recommend.
My first time in India as solo female traveller. This hotel is my safe heaven for how overwhelming India is. I find the area safe for walking. Although I only walk around during the day. They are shopping centers and good restaurants not far from the hotel. I would recommend this place. Breakfast was great. The room was not so big but everything was nice and clean.
The location is great, very close to connaught place. The rooms are a bit small but very comfortable. The beds and mattresses were comfortable. The shower area is decent sized. The breakfast was very good and they made good western style coffees. The staff was very polite and extremely helpful. They also offer airport pick up and drop.
A very nice stay overall. Travelled on account of work. The rooms though compact are well appointed, had a nice view overlooking the trees. Housekeeping staff was particularly exceptional. Front Desk check out experience was also very good. The breakfast buffet was quite elaborate & the F&B staff was attentive & warm. Highly recommended if you're looking to stay in the centre of the city with easy access to all the places, the Jain Mandir lane is quiet & peaceful & Bangla Sahib is at a walking distance.
I absolutely loved the hotel. The service is 10/10, everything is clean, very well maintained. The hotel staff is very generous - we got a complimentary early check in along with 2 cappuccino's as we had reached around 9am. The location is also great, if you want close proximity to CP, Janpath. The rooms are abit small, but very well equipped. The bathrooms are even smaller - like really small, the whole bathroom gets wet if you take a shower. I would rate the hotel a solid 4.5/5
Very good Hotel. It is very luxurious and the rooms were very spacious. This is one of the best hotels in Delhi.
A Mixed Bag of Luxury and Inconvenience The Connaught, a renowned name in the hospitality industry, presents a contrasting experience in New Delhi. While the service is undeniably top-notch, the physical infrastructure leaves much to be desired. Service Excellence: The hotel staff truly excels in providing impeccable service. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist, especially during our child's illness, was commendable. The complimentary car service and driver's support during the hospital visit were invaluable. The thoughtful gesture of providing souvenirs for our children was a delightful touch. Room and Facility Shortcomings: Unfortunately, the physical aspects of the hotel fall short of expectations. The rooms, particularly considering the price point, are rather cramped, making it difficult to even open luggage. The AC system's temperature control proved to be a persistent issue, requiring multiple service calls. The bathroom design, with water consistently spilling out of the shower area, poses a safety hazard. The hotel's pool, though small, could have been better maintained. The lack of adequate drainage and cleanliness detracted from the swimming experience. A Family-Friendly Dilemma: While the hotel staff is exceptionally accommodating, the limited amenities and activities make it less suitable for families with young children. The absence of in-house entertainment options can be a significant drawback for families seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Conclusion: The Connaught, New Delhi, is a hotel with a split personality. The extraordinary service can elevate a stay, but the physical shortcomings can significantly diminish the overall experience. It's a hotel that offers luxury in service but compromises on basic amenities and comfort.
