Taj Palace, New Delhi

We recently visited for a business meeting and chose to sit in the lobby cafe. The atmosphere was sophisticated and serene, with well-planned seating arrangements that allowed for both privacy and comfort. While the service was notably slow, likely due to limited staff availability, the quality of the preparations was commendable. Each item we ordered reflected the high culinary standards that the Taj brand is known for. Guests should be aware that the menu pricing starts at 850, so selections should be made thoughtfully. Overall, the Taj Hotel at Dhaula Kuan offers an exceptional setting with an ambiance that is both refined and inviting. Despite minor service delays, it remains a distinguished choice for business meetings and upscale gatherings.

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Taj and attending several business and diplomatic events here. The hotel truly excels when it comes to organizing events - the attention to detail, impeccable service and execution are always impressive. However, my experience with the food has been a letdown. Unfortunately, the lunch I had was bland. I was also disappointed with the caramel coffee, which was overly bitter. During my stay, I did enjoy breakfast, particularly the delicious upma and well-made cold coffee. Unfortunately, the other breakfast items I tried, such as the dosa, idli, and croissant, fell short of my expectations. On the other hand, the hotel's rooms are immaculately clean, and the service is top-notch. The staff are courteous, efficient, and ensure a comfortable stay. Overall, I'd give the Taj 5 stars for its exceptional service and rooms. However, I hope the hotel will take feedback on board and revamp its culinary offerings to match its high standards in other areas.

Our stay at the Taj Palace was very comfortable. When we arrived we were given a room far from the lift, but on request, they were able to move us to a room closer and with a pool view. The staff were very accommodating and polite. We didn't eat at the many restaurants at the Taj, but did have drinks in the outside bar area, they all looked amazing. Breakfast was good and had a good variety of fresh food available.

So what if it's Taj. It can't better it's rating more then 1. I paid for a Superior room and I got their DORMITORY styled single beds. This is such an old property I guess they still follow he old British way of the shower nob in opposite directions. The checkin is very time consuming. I didn't like the food here.. although the breakfast spread was good but sausages were kind of half cooked .. vada didn't have taste. Our dinner was bland.. In short.. if u have an option go for Taj Mansingh.. this is a Bloody old property.

Wonderful.The only 'palace' hotel in the national capital since 1983, in close proximity to the airport, embassies and business district, Taj Palace, New Delhi has been home to world leaders and captains of industry. Our boomerang-shaped luxury hotel in Delhi is spread over six acres of verdant greenery and balances modern interiors with regional art to create a luxurious ambience.

Beautiful place. Great services. I wish there would have been a kid play area as my son kept complaining.

Would love to stay in this one in next visit to India, Loved our evening coffee time in their coffee shop. I did emailed them for checking the room tariff but never received any response so book Itc Maurya. Hope they work on that and next time I get to have reservations there. I noticed some social media influencers promoting their new restaurant but we missed trying that one out in this visit. May be next time.

I can't imagine a more abundant experience. The breakfasts seem to offer limitless possibilities of excellent food. Although not quite as abundant, high tea and happy hour were also generous feasts.
