Hotel Saina International - Near Connaught Place (9911711707)

The best part about Hotel Saina International is its location--it's conveniently close to the New Delhi Railway Station, which makes travel easier. However, the overall experience was quite disappointing. We booked a family room expecting comfort and space, but the room turned out to be cramped. Although it had two bathrooms, both had poor water flow, and one had a broken soap dispenser. Drainage was clogged, making the stay quite inconvenient. Service from the staff was just okay--not particularly friendly or prompt. The food was another letdown. We tried the veg fried rice, which was overly spicy and didn't resemble traditional fried rice at all. Tea service was poor--they didn't use hot pots, so by the time it reached our room, it was completely cold. In summary, aside from the location, there's little to recommend. The hotel needs major improvements in maintenance, food quality, and guest comfort

HEADLINE: A budget option. I would look around for better places to stay at this price point though POSITIVES: Food: Food served is very tasty and we didn't get ill from it as Westerners. There isn't alot of restaurants in the area so we ate all breakfasts here and one dinner. Clean: Fairly clean although we stayed for 3 nights and they didn't do a room refresh which it needed because of dust etc. Customer service: the team were helpful and also at hand. Room size: Large and comfortable bed, two chairs and a small table and a nice large bathroom. NEGATIVES: Noise: Lots of street noise at night despite choosing a room with no windows in an attempt to reduce noise. 'Rooftop restaurant' is a stretch: There are a couple of plastic garden tables/chairs and nothing else. Location: Paharganj is not for the feint hearted western tourist. This was our first time in India and our first stop and we didn't feel very safe there. Lots of people approaching you and lots of street dogs. Car taxis can be hard because there is alot of traffic into the area. Room design: Was hard to live in. Weren't provided coat hangers in wardrobe, there was no hooks to hang towels or anything else, and could have done with a broom to sweep dust every day. Fridge was in disrepair which meant it was wobbly and often turned off if not balanced perfectly. All in all: Don't expect much for this price in India, but I think with some more research you could find somewhere better.

Good clean rooms. Granite floors which avoid accumulation of dust is a plus. All food is served only in the room. May they have only the kitchen or bringing food from outside. Negative, located in congested Paharganj area

Excellent property with great hospitality. The staff is polite, well mannered and very helpful. The food was excellent and tasty. The hotel is easily accessible from New Delhi railway and metro station. Rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable and clean. Whenever I am in Delhi I will stay in this property and will strongly recommend the same to others.

Great stay the bathrooms were kept extra clean and hygienic. Loved the rooms. Worth to stay for a short visit. Do not miss. Very friendly staff all the way

The Hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are also spacious. The staff is also nice and well mannered. The food is okay, but there are many other options nearby. The hotel is nearby RK ashram Metro station but is located in little crowded otherwise nice.

It was a good stay at this hotel, staff was curtious and he arranged for a complementary cab and had a good decent complementary breakfast at this place. Since its near city center its quite accesable and had the required aminities.
