We booked this property for our wedding for two days. The arrangements are excellent. Everyone enjoyed the decorations, food, and property. Sachin and his team are available as needed. He dealt with the unexpected requirements quickly and efficiently. Praveen from the decoration team has done an excellent job.

Recently attended a wedding function at The Eden, fairlie hotel and resort at Chattarpur, New Delhi. Venue is spacious and well decorated. Food was just ok not up to the mark and so the service. Ice-cream scoop was not thr so the person was struggling with spoon. Food was cold. Washrooms are outside and was not properly cleaned.
Terrible Experience - Do NOT Trust Their Decor Team! We had my sister's wedding at Fairlie in March 2025, and I cannot stress enough how disappointing the experience was -- especially due to their completely unprofessional and disorganized decor team. Despite charging a premium, they failed miserably: The Varmala setup was completely ruined, making a mockery of one of the most important moments of the day. The decor lacked quality and freshness, with wilted flowers and poorly executed designs. The photo booth had LED lighting issues, making it almost unusable. Even the Haldi event was carelessly handled with substandard arrangements and zero attention to detail. The decor was handled by Karan Chhabra, who made countless promises and delivered on none. Once they receive advance payment, they stop caring completely. No accountability, no professionalism -- just empty words. Please, do NOT trust this team with your big day. I strongly urge everyone to avoid paying them in advance and to think twice before booking Fairlie for any wedding or important event. What they promise and what they deliver are worlds apart.
We stayed at this hotel while attending a wedding. The property itself is nice and well-maintained, but we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The linens had visible spots and some green stains, which was not expected from a hotel of this standard. Overall, the experience could have been much better with improved housekeeping.
Rooms old style like a purani haunted haweli khandar old interior. sevice worst breakfast style on table not worth it. staff behavior was very pathetic. Swimming pool only looking good In hotel promotion pictures. swimming pool very dirty, there was no changing room. Please don't waste your money. They were serving very limited food on the table at the time of breakfast and taking a lot of time to serve so they can consume the time of breakfast
We had our wedding in Fairlie about a month back. The venue is beautiful and food is great. Staff is polite and helpful. Biggest issue was- Power cut. There was a power cut twice in our function and it was such a turn off. DJ stopped and they took 40 mins to get it started. Same thing happened in Haldi function. Service is not very good and you have to keep requesting for every small thing especially for the room service.
It may be long review, but worth your time as I have tried to give comprehensive insights for both consumers as well as management: 1. Summary: I had the opportunity to stay here for my cousin sister's wedding 2 weeks ago. Overall, it was a memorable experience. The property is peaceful, tastefully built, and lends itself beautifully to wedding events. Some areas may need attention to make them unbeatable or at the least fiercely competent. 2. The Venue(s) & Rooms: The halls meant for marriage and engagement functions are well laid out and spacious, adding a touch of elegance to the celebrations. Rooms are nicely done--well-furnished, clean, and comfortable. A minor feedback regarding rooms is mentioned in section 6(c) of this review. 3. The staff & Processes: The hotel staff deserves a special mention for being warm, friendly, and extremely accommodating. The check-in and check-out process was absolutely smooth, and even a last-minute reshuffling of rooms was handled with great efficiency by the team. Mr. Sachin along with hotel's front desk executives and their senior (sorry I have forgotten the name of Sardarji Sir (with due respect)) have done extremely well in extending their support and cooperation. Even while I tried to, I COULD NOT FIND any reason to complain about. 4. Event decoration was beautiful. I may not have much details regarding decorators but I believe they have empaneled agencies for their property (rightly so) looking after this aspect -- though pricing can vary depending on the type of event and preferences of the guests. Customers may prefer arranging their own event manager/photographers (not the same as decorators) for conducting their programs as presently the hotel may not be able to provide you the same at competitive rates. 5. Food & Beverages and Cleanliness: Food quality during the stay, especially at the wedding functions, was very good. The hotel maintains a good standard of cleanliness not just in the rooms but also in common areas. 6. Potential areas of improvement: That said, there are a few aspects where some improvement can make a noticeable difference: a) The hotel probably has a policy against hosting mehendi/haldi functions inside the rooms, which is understandable due to the cleaning challenges--but allowing these in a controlled way (or mentally prepared manner in advance) could encourage guests to stay longer, be convenient and generate more revenue. b) Food ordered on special request during buffet meals took a little longer than expected (not inordinately long but a bit long) -- it would be great to speed this up. c) Bathroom fittings in many rooms are suffering due to scale build-up; more consistent deep cleaning or the installation of a high-quality water softener could help. d) Hot water was not as hot as expected--an area for improvement especially during winter months. e) Lastly, while parking is available, accessing the main entrance by car involves a very narrow U-turn within the compound. Some reworking of the traffic flow could make this much more convenient. f) Setting up slides, swings and play area for children can attract more guests (even during off season). Inducting high-chairs for infants in dining area is another aspect they can work on. g) As on date, the hotel has 401 likes & 425 followers in facebook and decent (but not enough) numbers in Instagram as well. Some effort/innovation maybe required by their team to increase their visibility in these areas as well. Overall, a great experience and a place I'd definitely recommend for weddings or other big functions! Please feel free to reach out to me at nishantgupta07[at]yahoo[dot]com for any support (No spamming please). Sincerely wishing the hotel all the best in their quest to provide guests with unbelievable and unforgettable experiences.
We had our wedding at Fairlie resorts. It was a 3 days event and we are extremely satisfied. The arrangements including decorations and food was amazing and exactly as per our expectations. Sachin and Karan were constantly in touch with us for all our expectations and they delivered perfectly.
