Hotel Gold Souk

This was one of the worst place I've been in all my life. The reviews and photos are completely fake. While the room might look "acceptable", it is dusty with stained sheets and bedbugs. The shower is dirty, smells and is just a bucket fill with water. Toilet is stained and to my horror had some dry blood stain on the toilet paper. Bath towels were also all stained. Hotel in general looks worn down and honestly is not properly maintained. Breakfast was ok with some cereal, milk and egg Staff were trying but the place cannot be redeemed. Overall I do not recommend this place to anyone, not to a couple, not to a family with kids and definitely not alone. 1/10 do not be fool by the hotel outside pictures or even the reception pictures. Reality is a nightmare to be in a bad neighborhood.

Very poor service at this hotel. Biggest scam that Google rates it 5* when its barely even a 2* hotel. The lack of customer-centric capabilities of their staff is really horrendous. Nothing to shout about at this hotel as the location is mid, the facilities is very poor, rooms may be nice but not clean (dusty). Hotel was is through a bucket/pail and not through the shower up top. Breakfast is literally nothing with barely any options and its not worth the price at all being in Karol Bagh as its not near anything around tha area.

This hotel is really bad! Had a very bad experience with the lack of customer-centric staff at this hotel. To start of with, this hotel is 2* at most if not lower.When I had arrived, the receptionist told me I did not have a booking despite booking and receiving my booking confirmation from Trip well in advance of my trip (weeks before). Then after going back and forth and providing my details, suddenly my booking had appear on another website (MakeMyTrip) of which they said they dont usually check it so they are unaware of my booking (clearly not my fault). Then I had to waitttttttttt for them to prepare my room of which they gave me a suite but kept mentioning it wont be for long as they are preparing. Half hour became an hour became an hour in the half waiting. In the "waiting suite room", no towels were provided for us to shower, WIFI password was never shared once and was super protected like it had connectivity to the Government offices and the underqualified staff forced me to pass my phone to him to enter the password. Then the biggest draw of them all, HOT water is not available via shower/from the top. Its a freaking bucket/pail from another tap for it which that too I had to keep calling the reception to get it "activated". The underqualified staff had the odds to tell me all hotels in India is such which is utter ridiculous.All in all, I am sharing my experience with potential guests as I am a foreigner who did indept research before flying over to India and staying here and the summary would be, their reviews seem extremely scammish and they are not great at anything.Location is in an alley where your car may not be able to stop for long. Be prepared for honks all day and night if you stay here. Ajmal Khan road for shopping is about 18-20 mins walk which is OK.Breakfast was very very poor. It basically had nothing worth shouting or mentioning bout.Karol Bagh has plenty of hotels, plenty are good but this is not. Dont make the mistake I did.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay.

Disappointing Experience - Not a four-Star Hotel I had a highly disappointing experience during my recent stay at this hotel. The conditions were far from what one would expect from a four-star establishment. Upon entering the room, I noticed extreme limescale in the bathroom, which poses a health risk. The online images did not accurately reflect the reality, as the hotel is in poor condition, with cracked walls and doors. The room was dusty, and alarmingly, private documents were left exposed at the front desk. The restroom was unhygienic, with urine stains on toilet seats and exposed outlets creating a fire hazard. The mattress was stained with bodily fluids, and the decor was seriously outdated. The staff were unfriendly, adding to an overall unpleasant stay. Within 30 minutes, we decided to leave and instead stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Delhi Airport, which truly delivered a five-star experience. I cannot comprehend how this hotel is rated four stars and would not recommend it to anyone seeking quality accommodations.

Staff is very friendly and obliging. Good spread of breakfast. Enjoyed our stay here.

I am a regular guest of this hotel staying last 15 years regularly. Every time I visit see some new changes. Very familiar hotel.
