Stayed at this hotel for two nights in February this year. The room is really very nice with all facilities like complimentary soap, coffee, tea and milk powder and with electric kettle, the bathroom is also neat and clean and well maintained with house keeping done daily. There is south Indian restaurant in the ground floor of the main building where the front office is located, which caters good south Indian breakfast and a restaurant in the first floor for lunch and dinner. The only downside is the room provided to us was in a different building and the approach to this building was not appealing. The hotel is located in a very busy area with a lot of traffic and it gets noisy even in the night with the flow of busy traffic.

We visited hotel southern on Jan 20-22 of 2025. , with family and 2 kids. Aged 7 and 10. We took the family suite. We read the reviews posted earlier and were sceptical but since my parents had insisted upon their experience , we decided to stay here. The room was nice and clean. There were two single beds for the kids and one double bed for us. Not much walk around space after that., but we needed that sleep space after a tiresome day of travel. The bathrooms were clean and had hot water whenever we needed . The linen and supplies were to our satisfaction. The breakfast spread was good for southindians. There was parantha and bread as well. We booked our delhi local tours from them for a very reasonable price. Everything was smooth and good. I totally recommend this .It's a very old hotel , with room very close by but decently maintained and the rooms being close by didn't cause any issue for us.

I recently stayed at Hotel Southern and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The room I was provided was unhygienic, with a lack of proper maintenance and cleanliness. The bedding appeared unclean, and there was dust and grime in various corners of the room, which made my stay uncomfortable. The food served at the hotel was equally disappointing. It lacked freshness and tasted as if it had been prepared with little care or hygiene standards. This was especially concerning given how important food quality is for guests during their stay. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and attention to basic hygiene standards was glaring. I cannot recommend this hotel to others and strongly advise avoiding it for a more pleasant and worry-free stay elsewhere.

Best family hotel. Safe place. Great south Indian delicacies. Great location. VFM. You have a super bazaar right in the basement.

We visited this place, southern masla restaurant for dinner. I rate them 4.25/5. The Andhra special non-veg thali was good, but I didn't like sambhar, and medu vadai was stale n cold, not. fresh.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The bed sheets were old and worn out, with visible holes in them, making them feel unhygienic. The towels were in poor condition as well, with loose threads hanging from them, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. Additionally, I was assigned a room in a shady and poorly lit location, which made me feel uncomfortable, especially at night due to the absence of proper street lighting. To make matters worse, the bathroom had a persistent water leakage issue, making it inconvenient to use. On top of these problems, the service staff added to my frustration. Every single day, I was approached by a staff member who incorrectly told me that it was my checkout day. This caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. Moreover, I had to get my room key recharged daily, which was extremely frustrating and time-consuming. With all these issues combined, I was highly dissatisfied with my stay and will certainly not choose this place again in the future.
