Hotel Uptown

This hotel should not be rated as a 4 star hotel. I rate it as a 2. The location doesn't feel safe and the whole ambiance of the hotel isn't inviting. It is supposed to be fairly new however the bathroom appears very old and not what appears on the website. The photos on the website are not what they appear in reality. Our bathroom had no shower screen only an old shower curtain and the soap rack was broken, the lighting was also very dim. The photos show a light coloured bathroom with a glass shower screen however the bathroom was dark tiled with an old shower curtain. The Manager told me the hotel is 7 months old however I see reviews from one year ago. There were no toiletries like a 4 star should have. Tea and coffee supplies were very basic and the coffee cup was dirty. There was no hot water in the morning so we had cold showers in a dark bathroom. The noise levels are unacceptable, banging and loud talking at all hours of the day and night. The air conditioner was so loud we had to leave it off. There were also, what I assumed were friends of the staff hanging around the front desk. One staff member was dressed casually and didn't speak very good English. It was difficult to determine who worked there and who was just hanging about. They don't appear to have a computurised check in system as your check in gets logged into a huge book (looks like something out of Harry Potter). When we checked out earlier than planned, no one mentioned anything. I honestly couldn't wait to leave. Makes me wonder how they register the room security card. I notice the hotel doesn't respond well to negative reviews. Any reputable hotel would acknowledge a guests review and act accordingly to work on the reported issues. I would not stay in this hotel even if it was complimentary, it's more like a hostel than a hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The ambiance of the hotel was warm and inviting, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. The location is perfect, making it easy to access nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. It truly offers excellent value for money. The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which added to the overall positive experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Great staff, great location, and great value--what more could you ask for

Avoid it! Super loud place at night and dodgy neighborhood. Overpriced and doesn't meet the standards of a four star hotel. You hear the constant noise from the street (cars are honking all the time) and markets, or the nearby club at night, or the stuff that decides that 11pm or 5am is the good time to make noise while cleaning or doing whatever else they decide to do. The bathrooms were dirty and the water was leaking from pipes. The rooms were very small. We decided to move to a room without windows so it wouldn't be that noisy. Food was super average. No safe in the room.

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I don't know how is it even rated as 4star property. There is no water in the toilet and flush was not working. We had booked two rooms and we had go to other room to use the toilet and bathing. When informed they said it will be repaired next day morning. It was not repaired until we checked out. Reception staffs are very rude, they act as if they are letting us to stay for free. I would never recommend to anyone. Overall worst worst experience.

I had an incredible experience at Uptown Hotel in the heart of CP, Delhi. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the attractions and vibrant life of the area. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service. The manager and staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out. Needless of saying, they speak perfect English and are true helpers for the foreign tourist The rooms were spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city.

My company booked this hotel. The reviews were good but when I got here the location is very dangerous not for professional people. The noise levels are ridiculous local guests are banging the doors until late at night. People have no respect ignorant and talking on top of their voices disturbing everyone. The rooms are mediocre and lacks any hospitality.. There is not enough toilet rolls rationed portions. No tissues or hairdryers. Staff don't speak English. Strangers are lurking around the reception and hotel area. Not a hotel I would want to stay in. Not a good calibre of people. Disappointing
