Hotel Palacio de Diu

Hotel was amezing location nearby to INS Shipandlocal market , Staffs are very coperative , Food is awesome in the hotel resturant service is also perfect. Near by market multiple street foodoption also avaiable near by place for drinks reasonable drinking options also avaiable. Happy to stay palacio de diu. I strongly recommend this hotel very peaceful easy acess to local transport near to bus stand

I recently had a terrible experience with a meal that left me feeling quite unwell. The food I ate was not only tasteless, but it also caused me to have severe diarrhea shortly after. The texture was off, and the taste was unappetizing, indicating poor quality ingredients. It felt as if the food hadn't been prepared properly or had been sitting out for too long. Unfortunately, my body reacted negatively to it, resulting in a distressing and uncomfortable situation. I would advise caution when considering this place, as the food not only failed to satisfy my palate but also had unfortunate consequences for my health. It's an experience I'd rather forget.

Hotel is nice but it's manager is very rude, he don't know how to talk to customers, despite talking to him in the most polite way to explore available options of room he acted very rudely but we handled it calmly as we were with family. We are customers we have all the right to explore. However the other staff were super nice including cheff and cleaning staff and they took good care of us.

We stayed here on 27th Dec 2024. The location of the hotel is good, but due to repair of the public road outside the hotel it was a bit difficult to reach and park the car outside the hotel. No room/space for cab driver to stay in. No complimentary meals offered by the hotel. The rates as provided in the menu within the room are very high in comparison to the type of the hotel. So, we had no meals inside the hotel except for 2 cups of Tea costing Rs.105 including taxes. No special amenities provided within the room and wash rooms except towel and shampoo. However hotel room and washroom are neat and clean. Room was small in size so a little space to move inside. A single chair provided inside the room. However a good size almirah provided within the room. Least space to open your suitcase. Generally the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. I will only recommend a stay if an emergency.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Diu, making it easily accessible to popular tourist attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a great experience.

Neat and clean rooms. Food is also good. The only negative is no proper parking space available.
