Hotel Cidade de Diu

Being a part of the hospitality industry myself, I hold a deep understanding and appreciation for guest service standards and unfortunately, this property fell significantly short. While I understand this isn't a 5-star hotel, even 3star properties are expected to deliver basic hospitality, which was completely lacking here. The staff seemed to have minimal guest service knowledge, and the location itself was quite inconvenient. What was even more disappointing was that despite paying a considerable amount, we were denied access to the pool after checkout which is a simple courtesy many properties extend to ensure guest satisfaction.

We had an incredible 2-day stay at Hotel Cidade de Diu, and it was an experience to remember! The service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist. The food was delicious, offering a great variety of flavors that made every meal enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The hotel's atmosphere and hospitality truly made our trip even more special. If you're planning a visit to Diu, we highly recommend staying here for a fantastic and hassle-free experience! It was great experience. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Staff was cooperative. They allotted us the room early on request. Please go for this , great location, walking distance from bus stop.diu having amazing view of beach and fun city of family and friends

Rooms were decent good but service was bad not worth the money and all the roads were under construction so very hard to find hotel. I recommend not to go crapy service

It was my first visit with the family at Diu and we stayed Hote Cidade Diu. It is a very good place and affordable. The swimming pool area is the main attraction point and you can enjoy sea view from the rooms with cococnut garden.

The infrastructure is kinda old now and the worse is their restaurant they use only one gravy in all the items whether the item u ordered is veg or non- veg but the gravy is same. Also the staff their is not so helping they just keep on giving each other's name for contacting or for any help.. The room when we went had used tea cup lying around in the room and lots of dust and furniture materials on the floor. It was recommended by our friends but i am not recommending it to anyone.

Quite good hotel...location is their best benefit as its situated in city center ..close to diu fort and ins khukri memorial...rooms are good and comfortable...service and food is okay okay...swimming pool is good but timing is 9 to 6 only..which is not good... Overall decent hotel for family...

There hospitality was of high standard, the ambience was quite good, the pool was clean and had pool guard too, the staff were polite and responsive but the restaurant's areas staff were slow to food. Although my experience was good
