Heranca Goensa

In the end we spent 4 weeks in Aline's and Francisco's house. It's a beautiful, impeccably clean house in a quiet street, near the beach and two great restaurants: the Hotel Reshma and o'coquiero. The owners warm welcome makes you feel immediately at home. They are extremely kind and polite. You can have great discussions but they also respect your space and silence. Their son helps them out and always ready to help you out. There are AC and non AC rooms. We were in room nr. 3 and loved it. The colours, the views are absolutely mind-blowing. The room was cool at night as well, we didn't need AC. The whole house is clean, has lovely colours and very peaceful. I don't thing anybody can beat it on the island this high quality accommodation. I can strongly recommend it.

Sympathic, family-run guesthouse between the old Portuguese churches of Diu. The beautiful rooms have two terraces - a private one to the East and a common one to the West. The common terrace could have more regular cleaning, due to the dust caused by the permanent construction works aiming to convert Diu into a "smart city". Altogether a place worth to stay and much more pleasant than a typical Indian hotel. The price of 1200 Rupies for the double room in 2023 can be justified.

this is a small home stay by the family who stays on the ground floor. Its perfect for quiet tourists who want a clean room at a low cost and no other frills.||the family is very nice and friendly. they only serve breakfast so you get to meet other travellers in the morning for a nice conversation. Its definately not a place to drink your self silly and make a noise.||The rooms are clean and airy. Bang for buck this may be the best hotel in all of India, that I have stayed in.||The main area of the town is walking distance away and u wouldnt mind walking for lunch or dinner.

Heranca Goesa was brilliantly chill, and at 700 for a double with en suite bathroom and semi comfortable beds, the price is perfect. There are multiple areas where we could sit and relax in the shade, and the family running the place is very friendly and helpful. Though simple, their breakfast offerings are tasty enough (helloooo real coffee), and far cheaper than most of the options available outside the guesthouse.||Very spotty and inconsistent wifi is the only downside.

Heranca Goesa is conveniently located and is run by a sweet indo portuguese family. Our hosts are warm and friendly. Diu being a small place most of the tourist attractions are a walk away. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Travelling with friends we found the homestay to be safe for women and solo travelers. Our hosts even gave us tips on places to eat and places to see. Our travel to Diu was made great thanks to the great homestay experience.

best stay if you want a home like feeling and share memories with your loved one. The host was quite supportive and helpful. When we travelling there almost all the hotels were book and the available once were very costly, it was then we hermonca gonesa came to our rescue. Glad to have shared my memories in diu at this place. It at a walking distance from the diu frontline port!!

This guesthouse is very well situated in A quiet area of Diu and 2 min walk to a great restaurant called O'coquiero. The rooms are ultra clean and comfortable and the rate is more than reasonable (600 rupees per night for a double room). Alvin and his parents are very nice and will give you all the information you will need. |Highly recommended!

This place is located very close from Diu bus-stand and is in a residential locality. However, the main tourist attractions are very closeby- Diu Museum, INS Khukhri, port as well the fort. It's a small cozy, yet very comfortable place, run by an amicable family.Loved the morning breakfast at Heranca Goesa. There's also a nice Portuguese restaurant close-by- O'coqueiro and everything is at a walkable distance. I would anyday suggest this place over staying in expensive resorts in beaches around Diu.
