HOTEL ROYALE AMBIENCE

I stayed at this hotel for a night during my All India Road Trip. The hotel is among the top rated on google so I shortlisted it for my night halt in Raipur. The hotel is near Raipur railway station. It has parking space for cars. I stayed in room 206. The room was decent but very old. Most amenities and fittings in the room were broken. Check the multiple photos. Room main door could be opened only through a key as key card was dysfunctional. From inside it seemed that the door lock had been broken and refixed. Bedsheet was torn, towels were old and brown, there was a constant smell of cigarette smoke in bathroom. Even the AC filter needed service and was giving a damp smell when switched on. Bathroom window handle was broken and the window was partially open. Couldn't close it as the handle was broken. Inside bathroom a lot of screw holes were left open. May be some fittings were removed and fixed at some other place. Hot water took a lot of time to come from tap during shower. Flush buttons were broken and fixed with tape! Restaurant is on ground floor. Food was ok. Breakfast was scheduled from 7.30 am but at 7.45 it was not set up! Poha was kept. Sambhar was kept but no idli! Sabji was kept but not puri or paratha! So I cannot really comment on the breakfast spread. Staff were polite. The staff does not demand tips, infact the boy who escorted us to the room refused tip. Overall I got a feeling of staying in a glorified lodge and not a hotel. The hotel and rooms need serious overhaul.

While the hotel's spacious rooms and strategic location are notable, our experience was marred by several shortcomings. *Areas for Improvement:* 1. *Cleanliness and Maintenance*: The presence of cockroaches in the bathroom and worn-out doors suggest a need for enhanced cleaning and maintenance protocols. 2. *Bathroom Facilities*: Broken tiles in the bathroom detract from the overall ambiance. 3. *Food Quality*: The food served was average and could be improved. 4. *Staff Training*: The dining staff appeared untrained, and one staff member's behavior was particularly concerning, as they stood awkwardly close and stared without reason. 5. *Parking Facilities*: The lack of designated parking spaces forced us to park on the road, which was inconvenient. *Overall Experience:* Given the issues encountered, we felt that the hotel did not provide value commensurate with the cost. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience. *Recommendation:* To improve guest satisfaction, we suggest addressing the above-mentioned areas, particularly cleanliness, maintenance, staff training, and parking facilities.

Rooms were quiet but there's no view. Property is old so everything is quite old but rooms were clean and staff was very polite. supportive and ready to entertain all your request. They also accepted my request for a late checkout. Food was good but panner dishes were not good due to the quality of paneer they were using which was not good both in dinner and breakfast. Hot water was also not available in the bathroom. Overall a budget friendly hotel easily accessible from airport through cab.

Staff- The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful, kind, attentive, and respectful. Their politeness and dedication to service were truly commendable. Receptionists- Mr. Vikas and Ms. Sushma demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attentiveness, and gratitude. Their ability to maintain language accuracy and consistency made our experience even better. Rooms- The rooms were immaculate, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. They provided a perfect space to relax after a long day. Services- Room service was prompt, and the quality of service was outstanding. Hospitality Services- Ms. Jaya and Ms. Jaya were excellent in their roles. They were polite, soft-spoken, and provided top-notch service throughout our stay. Location- The hotel's prime location, close to Raipur Railway Station, made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Food- The food was delicious, and the restaurant's ambiance was delightful. Breakfast, served from 7 AM, was a highlight, and we enjoyed it every time we visited. Suggestion- While the overall services are excellent, I suggest providing chairs for the reception staff. Standing all day can be exhausting, and having high chairs discreetly placed would allow them to rest without compromising their professionalism. As a former hotel manager, I understand the challenges they face, and this small change could make a significant difference. Located at walkable distance from Raipur Junction Railway Station. For official and business purposes, this is one of the best options available for transit stays.

Rooms are so good it's fully satisfied stay I'm thankful to my frnd to recommend this hotel , front office staffs are also very polite

I have been staying in this hotel from last five years. I am fully satisfied with rooms. Food and service..it really value for money stay. And the serve very sumptuous breakfast...
