Located 10 minutes away from railway station. Rooms are well maintained and the hotel has its own restaurant. Room service is prompt. Have customer friendly staff.

In a place like Korba this was like an oasis. Though the staff were courteous but a lot is left desired as compared to a decent hotel anywhere else. For Korba it's an OK place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and the rooms were spacious and washroom was clean. Their air conditioning was good too. They havea restaurant and apparently was one of the best in Korba. The staff is very polite and caring and takes good care of their guests. Room service too was quick and housekeeping did a good job.I strongly recommend this hotel for business and other travellers.

PROS: First all the good things: this place is near the main road, hence accessibility isn't an issue. Staff is courteous and efficient. The food of this place is the best compared to that of all other hotels in the town. CONS: * They are still stuck in the 90s' era mindset and insist on marriage-certificate documents, even for wedded couples. I never faced this problem in other hotels here, such as Blue Diamond or Amayra, where staff were extremely professional in their approach. * The rooms don't justify the high tariff. Except their suite, every other room has some problem. TV-overhead lights can't be turned-off from the controls beside your bed. You will have to walk near the entrance in semi-sleep to switch them off. * The ceiling fans are noisy and keep banging all night from holes in the false ceiling. There's no mini-fridge. There is no window inside (maybe it was an issue in my room only). * Switching on the TV will be your biggest mistake. They don't even have a few good Free-to-air channels. The ones they have, suck to the core including channels of christian missionaries boring their audience. * They don't provide complimentary toiletries like disposable brush, paste, razors, etc. In my room, the telephone went dead many times, so it wasn't easy to place orders with the restaurant. My room also had mosquitoes. Conclusion: If you get past the nosy and humiliating interrogation on your marital status at the check-in reception, and get a good room, the food will be nice. I strongly suggest you stay someplace else and come here just for the food.
