The hotel is in an amazing location and the rooms are clean. Our stay was really good. Food is average and service could have been better. I think they were understaffed.

Way better than any other crowded tourist location. Nothing compares with this place for stay at Mainpat. Mr Imran, the Manager of this govt property is very welcoming and helpful. Fantastic person. One could hear one's breathe in the cool silent ambience of the morning and evening, feeling as one with mother earth. The local people are so simple and respectful. Very relaxing place indeed

No words to describe. Wonderful, Relaxing , Mind Blowing, Scinic .... .... We had finalized our stay even after going through few negative reviews like service problems and problems of electricity etc. We would like to say the service as awesome. They deserve something more than a simple 5 star rating. We have just not found a word of no in the dictionary of the Manager Mr. Imran or his associates like Dashrath, Chakradhar and last but not the least Birbal the service guy. We have booked our rooms for two nights. But we're so pleased with the scenic beauty of the resort and nevertheless the service provided by Mr. Imran and his entire team. Ee had requested to extend our stay for one more night and stayed to witness our first sunrise of 2025 in the resort. Really, you don't want to go to anywhere else to see the sunrise. Atleast 10/12 rooms out of 18 rooms may witness the sunrise from their varandas/ balcony itself. The resort is fully safe for families as Mr. Imran is having a vigilant eye and not allowing the people who may disturb by taking alcohol openly or making noise and disturbing other families. The complimentary breakfast along with tea was awesome. The food quality was upto the mark. Mr. Chakradhar, may be the canteen manager's involvement is certainly admirable. The service of Mr. Dasarath reflects his clear heart while the service of Mr. Birbal reflects his innocence. Thank you the entire team for making our stay a memorable one. Certainly, we will be pleased to visit and witness your hospitality once again future.

Great location and huge property, probably one of the best place to stay in Mainpat, the hill station of Chhattisgarh. Property comprises of 9-10 cottages. Each cottage has two independent sets of one room & one big attached bathroom. For both these rooms, there is a common closed lobby. In the front, there is a verandah. Rooms are provided with TV which generally does not work because of non-charging of dish-tv account. Shower and main tap in the bathroom are connected to geyser. Towel, soap and handwash-gel are provided by the facility. There is an open amphitheatre and a cycling-cum-walking trail within the campus. Food can be served by the resort only if booked well in advance. Even the quantity also needs to be specified with the order in advance. The menu is very basic and limited. It would be better if one carries an electric kettle with tea bags & milk powder, Maggie, or other ready to cook kind of stuff as back up. They also arrange bonfire on request with payment. Overall a nice place to spend quality peaceful time in Mainpat...

Excellent location, huge property consisting of open amphitheatre, large dining place, lake and many more. Clean & well maintained. The only issue is food has to be ordered well before and no beverage arrangement (I e. Cold drinks or ice cream) is available.

The resort offers good value for money considering the price of Rs 1800 per room. It can be booked by visiting CG Tourism office or by contacting the Booking incharge. The resort had huge infrastructure however the maintenance of property is not done adequately. The room in which I stayed has non working TV sets and Dirty sofas. The furnishing is average and the interior is just ok. The size of the room is good and the bathrooms are huge. The rooms have airconditioner and bathroom is equipped with Geyser. Hot water was available. The airconditioner was working properly. The location of resort is good and offers nice view. The resort is spread in huge area overlooking a lake. The property also has amphitheatre. There is enough parking space for vehicles. The staff is untrained and service quality is average. Food quality is nothing to mention and service is mostly delayed. The behaviour of the staff is polite but do not expect professional resort like service here. Overall it was a good experience staying here. In the very limited staying option in Mainpat , Karma resort could be a better option.

Stunning views with a breathtaking roady to the resort, offering some of the best scenery in the area. Unfortunately, the maintenance was lacking. The room we stayed in had an unpleasant smell, and despite having the linens changed, it made little difference as the pillows still had a stench.

Property is good, service is extremely poor smelly bathrooms and toilets, maintance is very low, we called the manager Imran for location, in th morning at 7 am ,as we were not able to find the location, he talked very rudely, he said mam I am cutting your calls, then also u are calling again and again you are disturbing me. Actually karma etnenic is Government property, and as all government services are poor maintained this resort is also poorly maintained, staff behaviour and services are worst. No telephone in the rooms to call for service. Television were not working. Weather was cold there but no water kettle were provided in the room for drinking warn water. Chattisgarh Government should and must look in the behaviour part of the Manager ( who so ever number is provided in the Internet). For us we were troubled a lot for the poor maintenance and extremely poor services and very rude behaviour of Manager.
